Magic Mixies Magical Crystal Ball
Since starting my blog, Avery and I have tried out all sorts of toys that are on the market. I’ve shared a few times, but Moose Toys is one of our very favorite brands! Their toys truly bring the “wow” factor, and they have some of the most unique and fun toys out there.
Moose Toys recently came out with one of the hottest toys on the market and it’s called “Magic Mixies Magical Crystal Ball” . It’s an interactive crystal ball where you use a magic wand and follow a sequence of spells to create a Mixie inside! It features more than 80 sounds, lights, and reactions. It also has a magic mist that fills the crystal ball. Best of all, you can create that magic over and over again! I mean that you’re able to repeat the crystal ball spell more than once. Not to mention, you can use your wand on your Mixie after it has emerged. Another fun thing that you can do with your crystal ball is use it as a night light!
It’s such a fun toy that lets children experience “real magic”! Now, they don’t have to wish for it, they can create it. I love the idea behind it. I feel like every kid wishes that magic was real.
How to Reveal Your Mixie
To reveal your Mixie, you need to follow these six spells:
- Illumi – Awaken the Crystal Ball. “Use your wand to unleash the energy and light within to begin the creation spell”. Your crystal ball with glow yellow! Jiggle wand upwards, downwards, and then wave wand up and down. Press the spell button. The crystal ball with glow green!
- Mistos – Summon the Magical Mist. “Use the wand to create wind and light to give the mist its power”. Your crystal ball with glow white! Jiggle the wand upwards, downwards, and then wave the wand up and down. Press the spell button. The crystal ball with glow green.
- Coloramo – Add color to your Mixie. “Use your wand and it will become clear as to which colored Mixie will appear!”. Your crystal ball with glow purple! Jiggle wand upwards, downwards, and then wave wand up and down. Press the spell button.
- Melodias – Form your Mixie’s voice. “Use your wand to give your Mixie its voice”. Your crystal ball with glow blue! Jiggle wand upwards, jiggle wand downwards, wave wand up and down. Press the purple spell button. Your crystal ball with glow green.
- Fortunas – Teach your Mixie to tell Fortunes. “Use your wand to teach your Mixie how to tell fortunes”. Your crystal ball with glow pink! Jiggle wand upwards, jiggle wand downwards, wave wand up and down and press the spell button. Your crystal ball with glow green when you’ve completed this.
- Magicus Mixus – Bring your Mixie to life! “The Creation spell is almost finished! All is about to be revealed! Use your wand to make your Mixie magically appear!”. Your crystal ball with flash rainbow colors!! Jiggle wand upwards, downwards, and wave wand up and down. Press the spell button and the crystal ball will turn green. Now say, “MAGICUS MIXUS!” and your Mixie will magically appear in the crystal ball! 😊 This is so neat! The crystal ball fills up with a swirly mist and the Mixie emerges from the bottom. The Mixie is adorable and so interactive.
My daughter thought this was the coolest thing! And the best part is that you can redo this part over and over again – either with the Mixie or with your own small toy. Avery did it probably 4 times in a row. She kept telling me how much fun it was.
All about the Mixie
Now that your Mixie has been revealed, there’s so much that you can do with it!! It has
Spell Mode: Use your wand to enter spell mode. After pressing the Mixie button, the Mixie will say “Spellaramus!”. There are seven different spells that you can cast. By jiggling your wand up, down, or sideways, you will get different colors on the end of your wand and on the gems on the Mixie’s head. Each spell correlates to a different color. Here are the spells:
Pink: Love Spell
Blue: Mystic Spell
Purple: Enchantment Spell
Orange: Fire Spell
Green: Power Spell
Red: Failed Spell
Yellow: Lightning Spell
Fortune Telling Mode: Hold your Mixie’s belly and when your Mixie says “Magicus Fortunus!” ask it a “yes” or “no” question. After you let your hands off its belly it will answer your question with green – meaning your fortune will come true, yellow – meaning it’s unsure, and red – meaning the fortune is not in your future.
Game Mode: Press the Mixie button on the wand twice and it will enter game mode. The Mixie will say “Gamezeeboz!”. The Mixie flashes a color on the gems on its head and you wave your wand around to match that color. If you answer correctly, you move to the next level!
Tickling: Moving your fingers along your Mixie’s belly can make them giggle and laugh. Too many tickles can annoy your Mixie.
Sleeping: The Mixie might want attention if you leave it alone, but if you leave it long enough, it will fall asleep. You can wake it up if you want by pressing the On/Off switch two times.
