I was really disappointed with the twelfth book in the magic tree house series. The plot was incredibly predictable and lacked any real excitement or surprise. The characters felt one-dimensional and I couldn't really connect with them. Overall, I found the story to be quite dull and unoriginal. I was hoping for something more engaging and imaginative, but unfortunately, this book fell short.
