Broadview Heights resident Aaron Shutway has been getting some significant national attention for an amazing trick basketball shot he made at school.

Shutway, a Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School eighth-grader at the time, was playing around with some trick shots during a free day on June 9.

Middle School physical education teacher, Marie Ganim Schneider said that it took Shutway about 30 tries to finaly make this shot.
Schneider grabbed her video camera and started recording when it was apparent Shutway may make the unbelievable basket. And, like a real basketball game, Shutway made the shot just as the bell signaled the end of the period.

"We (Schneider and a colleague) posted it on YouTube because we thought it was so awesome," she said.

And, somehow, through the magic of viral videos, the video made its rounds in a short period of time. Tomorrow, Shutway will appear on the CBS "Early Show," which appears locally on WOIO Channel 19. The video has also appeared on FOX and ABC.
