Really Useful Engine - The poor SFX the film uses are used as an introduction for an unnecessary and truncated cover of a song from the original TV series where Steven Page sings over the original singers and an orchestra blares out the original synthesized tune. 2/5.

Shining Time - The tweeness of the film compared to the TV series is well known, but nowhere more obvious than this song. 2/5.

I Know How the Moon Must Feel - Rides the fine line and just manages to not become twee. It's threatening to though, and is poorly used in the film itself. 3.5/5.

Some Things Never Leave You - I am running out of things to say about these slow orchestral songs. Wasn't this cut from the film? 2.5/5.

Summer Sunday - Surprisingly melancholy. Then Thomas the Tank Engine shows up. 1.5/5.

The Locomotion - Atomic Kitten modernizes the classic pop song that's probably about sex. Merits come primarily from the original song and not their cover. 2/5.

Main Title - Moving into the album's selections from the actual score by Hummie Mann, we get an acceptably dramatic if somewhat twee intro, followed by an indifferent quoting of the TV Series' theme (in its only appearance, Mann preferring Really Useful Engine as the main theme for the film for some reason). The rest of the track is firmly beyond the main title, and is mainly brief pieces for specific events. 3/5.

Lily Travels to the Island of Sodor - Another quote from the film leads off this fairly dull piece of underscore. The brief quotation of IKHTMMF is fairly nice though. 2.5/5.

Burnett & Lady/Diesel 10 & Splodge - Two unrelated tracks are jammed together into one here. A decent instrumental rendition of STNLY leads off, showing how much of a problem vocals were to it, followed by some "mysterious" piano. The first track finishes with some dull orchestral stuff, while the second track is brief and repetitive. 2/5.

Diesel 10 Threatens Mr. C / Lily & Patch - I am beginning to wonder if Hummie Mann was given a limit on the numbers of tracks he could have on the album, and this was his way of getting as much of the score in as possible. The first track is generic "mild threat" music. The second track is fairly dull when not quoting IKHTMMF, but when it is it's probably superior to IKHTMMF. 3/5.

The Chase, the Clue & the Happy Ending - No oxford comma. 0/5. In all seriousness, this is pretty generic action music followed by more generic orchestral. 2/5.
