Wicca is a modern pagan religious movement that was developed in England during the early 20th century. I shared some ideas for how to have a kitchen witchcraft practice in not ideal settings such as not knowing how to cook, having a small kitchen, or sharing a kitchen with other people. When storing magical ingredients together, it is a good idea to separate ingredients from ingredients belonging to a family which speciality does not go well with the speciality from that ingredient, otherwise it may cause the ingredients to exhibit spontaneous movement.

These fires are seen as a source of purification and transformation, as well as a way to drive away any remaining winter energies. Participants often jump over the flames, a practice known as "leaping the bonfire", to cleanse and renew themselves. The Wiccan spring festival is also a time of feasting and merriment.
