The team will begin practicing in the building in the coming days with training camp set to begin on Sept. 27. “We did our research and toured the other facilities in the league and some NFL facilities,” Martins said. “I think everything that our players need to prepare, rehab, recoup and keep them from getting injured are here. It is everything that we would have hoped for and more.” The AdventHealth Training Facility includes two full-size courts and two additional shooting goals for 21,000 square feet of room for practice and other related on-court activities; the team has 6,000 square feet of court space in the Amway Center. The building offers leading training and recovery technologies, including an altitude chamber and a hydro area with hot and cold plunges. Players will have the opportunity to utilize the family room, featuring a nutrition bar and full kitchen. The players’ expansive locker room features walk-in lockers with high-end finishes. Nearby the locker room, players have the opportunity to unwind and recover with a floating pod, nap rooms and massage suites.
