Scientific Investigation: the Absence of Black Magic in the Lab

By admin

It is a common belief among many cultures that black magic exists and can be used to harm or manipulate others. However, there is no concrete evidence to support the existence of black magic. The idea of black magic is often fueled by superstition and fear, rather than factual information. The concept of black magic is deeply rooted in ancient folklore and mythology. In these stories, individuals with dark and forbidden powers are able to cast spells, curse others, or even control the forces of nature. These tales have been passed down through generations, perpetuating the belief that black magic is real and powerful.

Cherry Magic - Thailand

Yes, this is a Thai remake of one of the most popular Japanese BL dramas of all time. There's not really much to say about it that is not already known except that director X Nuttapong has intimated that the drama style of the Thai version will be substantially different from the Japanese one, so people expecting a direct remake are likely to be surprised (and possibly disappointed) by the new version. GMMTV have apparently licenced the actual manga rather than the original screenplay which gives them a lot of leeway to adapt the storyline concepts as they see fit. Even so, it is inevitable that comparisons with the original will be made and even though TayNew are a very popular ship, it will be a difficult job to live up to the expectations being pinned on their shoulders by avid fans of the original.

Tay will play Kurosawa (here named Karan) and New is Adachi (here named Achi). In support will be Junior Panachai as the cat-loving author Tsuge (here named Jinta), and Mark Jiruntanin as the street-dancing delivery boy Wataya (here named Min). Of course, since GMMTV are free to make any changes they want we may not see a cat or a street dance at all! Sing Harit will play office intern Rokkaku (here named Rock) and Jan Ployshompoo will play helpful office worker Fujisaki (here named Pai). It's directed by X Natthaphong Mongkolsawat who also helmed 'Vice Versa' and 'Theory of Love'.

Synopsis: "Achi is a regular salaryman who, at the age of 29, is still a virgin. On his 30th birthday, he suddenly finds himself acquiring a new power – the ability to read other people’s minds whenever he touches them. Shocked and unnerved by this new ability, he struggles to cope. That is, until one day he accidentally touches the handsome and popular fellow office-worker, Karan, only to find out that Karan actually has secret romantic feelings for him. How will Achi cope with this new revelation?"

* The trailer was filmed but due to a licencing conflict, GMMTV were unable to screen it at the Showcase.

However, this update from the show received mixed reactions, and raised excitement from the fans, and others raised their worries about the show being rushed since the drama just started filming in August. Nonetheless, the Polcas look forward to seeing TayNew together on their comeback proje ct!

‘Cherry Magic TH’ is Thailand’s take on Toyota Yuu’s best-selling manga series of the same name, which also had its Japanese live adaptation in 2020. The project was announced last November during the GMMTV 2023 line-up. After 7 months, the grand reveal of its pilot trailer was finally revealed. The drama follows Achi, a 30-year-old employee with a superpower to read people’s minds, and his crush on Karan, a colleague from another department, who eventually opens up to love.

As of this writing, no further information has been released. Stay tuned to BLtai for more updates about this show!

These tales have been passed down through generations, perpetuating the belief that black magic is real and powerful. Despite the widespread belief in black magic, there is a lack of scientific evidence to support its existence. Many of the supposed effects of black magic can be easily explained by psychological phenomena such as the placebo effect or suggestibility.

No black magic available

When people believe they have been cursed or hexed, they may experience symptoms or misfortune purely because they expect to. Furthermore, the idea of black magic often serves as a scapegoat for natural or man-made disasters. Rather than accepting that bad things can happen by chance or as a result of human error, people may attribute these events to the work of black magic. This allows for a sense of control and explanation in the face of chaos or tragedy. In reality, there are no reliable methods or practices to harness black magic. Many supposed practitioners of black magic are often charlatans or con artists, preying on the fears and vulnerabilities of others. They may claim to have special powers or knowledge, but their abilities are usually nothing more than smoke and mirrors. It is important to approach claims of black magic with skepticism and critical thinking. While the idea may hold a certain allure or fascination, it is essential to separate fact from fiction. Instead of turning to black magic in times of trouble, it is more productive to seek support from loved ones, professionals, or religious leaders. By relying on evidence-based solutions and rationality, it is possible to navigate life's challenges without resorting to the mystical or supernatural..

Reviews for "The Power of Education: the Decline of Black Magic Beliefs in Enlightened Societies"

1. Emily - ⭐⭐
I was really looking forward to reading "No Black Magic Available" based on all the positive reviews I had seen. However, I was sorely disappointed. The plot was slow and uninteresting, and the characters felt flat and lacking in depth. I didn't feel any connection to them and couldn't bring myself to care about what happened to them. The writing style was also a bit disjointed, making it hard to follow the story at times. Overall, I found this book to be a letdown and would not recommend it.
2. Robert - ⭐
I had high hopes for "No Black Magic Available" after reading the intriguing synopsis, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The pacing was incredibly slow, and it felt like nothing of significance was happening for the majority of the book. The world-building was lackluster, and I didn't feel fully immersed in the magical realm the author was trying to create. The characters were also unremarkable, and I couldn't connect with any of them on an emotional level. It pains me to say that I was thoroughly disappointed by this novel.
3. Sarah - ⭐⭐⭐
"No Black Magic Available" had an interesting premise, but it fell short in execution. The story had potential, but the pacing was all over the place. It jumped from one scene to another without much coherence, and I found it hard to keep track of what was happening. The characters were also underdeveloped, and their actions often didn't make sense. It felt like there were too many loose ends and unanswered questions by the end of the book. While it wasn't the worst book I've read, it definitely didn't leave a lasting impression.
