Thoughts about Goggles Integra + Motion Controller 2 + Avata?

Today I'll be receiving the combination of Goggles Integra + Motion Controller 2 + Avata, straight from DJI. Am I nuts in thinking this is a great package in the US? Wondering why I see no reviews of this particular combination, no one talking about it? The Motion Controller 2 seems to have some real advantages over the previous version, especially having that extra thumb control on the top, and being able to push the trigger forward a bit too. The Integra Goggles solve that super annoying problem of the cord coming out of your head (which I solved on the Goggles 2 with a 3D printed part, but still), I won't have to connect my mobile phone to launch, and with the money I saved I got ND filters and other goodies.

I'm okay using fixed diopter adjustments, built-in GPS, losing the touch pad, live streaming, etc. on the Goggles, for what I get in exchange and for my typical use cases.

"The DJI Goggles Integra comes equipped with a built-in GPS, eliminating the need to connect to a smartphone for drone flight. This enhancement not only simplifies the setup process but also removes the requirement for a smartphone to enable the remote ID feature."

I mean, I don't think there are reviews because it was literally announced last week? And I would guess that DJI probably sends preview units to all the big publications for new *drones* but not updated controllers and the like, so it'll probably take some time for the controller/goggle reviews to trickle out.

Honestly, I am not a huge fan of the Avata and just don't really trust that it won't fly off randomly, so I don't use it that much. I don't really use the MC at all (I use the FPV Controller 2) and the Goggles 2 get used primarily with my O3 Air Unit quad, so the benefits of the new Goggles don't really make it worthwhile for me. That said, if you're buying a new Avata, the new Goggles Integra seem like the best choice.

One such example is the use of the open-source software, Betaflight. Betaflight is a popular firmware used by many drone enthusiasts to configure and fine-tune their drones’ flight performance. Some users have reported success in using Betaflight to configure their non-DJI drones to communicate with DJI controllers. This process, however, requires a certain level of technical expertise and may not be suitable for beginners or those unfamiliar with drone firmware.

Reviews for "Taking your YouTube channel to new heights with Mavic Motion Mobile"

1. John - 2/5 - I recently purchased the Mavic motion mobile and I must say, I am quite disappointed with my purchase. The app constantly crashes and freezes, making it impossible for me to control my drone effectively. Additionally, the range is extremely limited, and I find that I am only able to fly my drone a short distance before losing connection. Overall, I had high hopes for the Mavic motion mobile, but it has failed to live up to my expectations.
2. Sarah - 1/5 - The Mavic motion mobile is a complete waste of money. The app is clunky and difficult to navigate, with a confusing interface that makes it hard to understand how to operate the drone. Furthermore, the video quality is extremely poor, with blurry and pixelated footage that is hardly usable. Save your money and invest in a better drone, because the Mavic motion mobile is not worth the price.
3. Mike - 2/5 - I had such high hopes for the Mavic motion mobile, but unfortunately, it has let me down. The controls are not responsive, making it difficult to maneuver the drone and capture the shots I want. The battery life is also disappointing, as it drains quickly and requires frequent recharging. Overall, I regret purchasing the Mavic motion mobile and would not recommend it to others.
4. Emily - 1/5 - I have had nothing but trouble with the Mavic motion mobile. The app constantly crashes, leaving me unable to control my drone and resulting in several near crashes. The customer service provided by the company is also subpar, with unhelpful representatives who do not offer any solutions to the issues I am experiencing. I would not recommend the Mavic motion mobile to anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly drone.
