About the Author
MARY POPE OSBORNE is the author of the New York Times number one bestselling Magic Tree House series. She and her husband, writer Will Osborne (author of Magic Tree House: The Musical), live in northwestern Connecticut with their three dogs. Ms. Osborne is also the coauthor of the companion Magic Tree House Fact Trackers series with Will, and with her sister, Natalie Pope Boyce.
SAL MURDOCCA has illustrated more than 200 children's trade and text books. He is also a librettist for children's opera, a video artist, an avid runner, hiker, and bicyclist, and a teacher of children's illustration at the Parsons School of Design. Sal lives and works in New York with his wife, Nancy.

I was really disappointed with "Magic Tree House 17". I found the story to be quite dull and lacking in excitement. The plot felt repetitive and predictable, and I didn't feel engaged or invested in the characters' journey. Additionally, I felt that the writing style was uninteresting and didn't capture my attention. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book to others, especially those who are looking for a thrilling and captivating read.

I found "Magic Tree House 17" to be incredibly boring. The story lacked depth and substance, and I couldn't connect with the characters or their actions. The plot felt rushed and underdeveloped, and I was left feeling unsatisfied. Furthermore, the writing style was simplistic and didn't hold my interest. I was expecting much more from this book, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. I would advise others to skip this installment in the series.
