Magic Tree House 27 is the twenty-seventh book in the Magic Tree House series written by Mary Pope Osborne. The book is titled "Thanksgiving on Thursday." MARY POPE OSBORNE is the author of the New York Times number one bestselling Magic Tree House series. 1. Sarah - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Magic Tree House 27". I have been a fan of the series for so long, but this installment just didn't do it for me. The plot was weak and predictable, and the characters lacked depth. I felt like I was reading the same story over and over again. I was really hoping for something new and exciting, but unfortunately, this book fell flat. I would not recommend it to long-time fans of the series.
2. Mike - 1 star - As an avid reader of the "Magic Tree House" series, I was extremely let down by the 27th book. It felt rushed and poorly thought out. The writing style seemed different from the earlier books, and not in a good way. The pacing was off, and the story lacked the magic and wonder that made the series so enjoyable. Overall, it felt like a cash grab rather than a genuine addition to the series. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
3. Emily - 2 stars - I have always loved "Magic Tree House", but this particular installment left me feeling underwhelmed. The plot was uninteresting and didn't capture my attention like the previous books did. The writing felt forced and lacked the sense of adventure that is usually present in the series.
