The owners announced its reopening via
a few weeks ago, and a hungry lunchtime crowd gathered in spite of overcast skies and a chill in the air.
Known for its onion rings, grape ice cream and peanut butter milk shakes, Magic Burger enjoyed a thriving business for many years, sandwiched between Interstate 59 and the old Gulf States Steel mill.
It closed last July, but its renewed future looked bright on reopening day.
