Get the Lush Look Without Breaking the Bank: Magical Stone Dupes

By admin

I recently discovered a **lush magical stone dupe** that I wanted to share with all of you. As many of you know, Lush is a popular brand known for their bath and body products, particularly their bath bombs. Their magical stone bath bomb is a fan favorite, but unfortunately, it can be quite pricey. After searching online, I stumbled upon a homemade recipe that claims to be a perfect dupe for the lush magical stone bath bomb. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try. The ingredients were fairly simple, all of which I had in my pantry already.

Overall I am very happy with the new Magic Crystals shower scrub, it’s nice that there is more of a choice of this particular type of product now. The variety certainly makes shower time a lot more exciting to say the least.

The salt in it appears to be slightly more chunkier, it does however do an almost identical job, I d go as far to say that my skin actually feels more hydrated after using Magic Crystals when compared to my skin after using Rub Rub Rub. As I am currently working on the Cruise ship I new that if I couldn t pick a tub up the day it was released it would be a good 3 weeks before I would be able to get my hands on any so I managed to make a made dash to Lush Southampton before boarding the ship and secure myself a pot to try out.

The ingredients were fairly simple, all of which I had in my pantry already. I gathered together baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, cornstarch, almond oil, essential oils, water, and some food coloring for a touch of whimsy. The first step was to combine the dry ingredients (baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, and cornstarch) in a bowl.

The Cost

We will be honest - we aren’t sure how long 1 block of solid lotion lasts versus a liquid bottle. But we will compare a few drugstore brands like Nivea, Aveeno, and OGX as well as a few solid brands like Sustain Yourself, Ethique, Eco & Earth, Pretty Frank, and Moon Valley for pricing. Note: we believe that 1oz of a solid lotion lasts much longer than 1 oz of liquid — we just don’t know if it’s 3x or more like 10x yet.

*We estimated the Eco & Earth Size

Money Report: For the zero-waste options, Lush’s lotion bar is one of the cheapest! Obviously, when looking at ounce versus ounce, the lotions look way, way cheaper. We think that you get much longer use out of the lotion bars, we are just not sure how much more yet.

The Good:

Zero-waste body lotion, with no plastic

Not tested on animals — neither the product nor the ingredients

Scent is lovely but note that it may be very strong for some

Lots of good ingredients like bergamot, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, illipe butter, aloe vera, and extra virgin olive oil

Goes on like body butter, so note it won’t be absorbed as easily as lotion

The Bad:

Might be a bit tougher to use in colder environments — but we have seen the suggestion to use a hair drier

Long list of ingredients, most of which are natural but one of which is ‘fragrance’

I then mixed in the wet ingredients (almond oil, water, and essential oils) until the mixture had a damp, sandy texture. Next came the fun part – shaping the **lush magical stone dupe** mixture into rocks! I rolled the mixture into small balls and then shaped them into irregular rock-like shapes. The rocks were then left to dry for a day or two until they were firm and hard. Finally, it was time to test out my homemade **lush magical stone dupe**. I filled up my bathtub with warm water and dropped in one of the rocks. To my delight, it fizzed and released a lovely aroma just like the lush magical stone bath bomb. The water turned a beautiful, vibrant color, which added to the overall experience. I soaked in the bath for a while and felt thoroughly relaxed and pampered. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the results of my **lush magical stone dupe** experiment. Not only did it save me money, but it also allowed me to recreate the luxurious bath experience of the lush magical stone bath bomb at home. I will definitely be making more of these homemade dupe rocks in the future..

Reviews for "Redefine Luxury with These Lush Magical Stone Dupes"

1. Emily - 2/5 - I was really excited to try this Lush magical stone dupe, but I ended up being disappointed. The product had a very strong artificial fragrance that gave me a headache. Additionally, the stone itself was quite rough and abrasive on my skin. I expected it to be a more gentle exfoliator, but it felt more like sandpaper. Overall, not a fan of this dupe and I wouldn't purchase it again.
2. Liam - 1/5 - This Lush magical stone dupe fell short of my expectations. The product itself was flimsy and felt like it would break easily. It did not hold up well during use and was not durable at all. Moreover, I found that it didn't lather well with my body wash, making it difficult to spread the product. I was left feeling disappointed and would not recommend this dupe to others.
3. Sarah - 2/5 - I was hoping that this Lush magical stone dupe would be an affordable alternative to the original product, but unfortunately, it did not live up to that expectation. The dupe lacked the moisturizing properties that the original stone had. Instead, it left my skin feeling dry and stripped of moisture. It also didn't last as long as the original stone, which was a major downside for me. Overall, I was not satisfied with this dupe and would not repurchase it.
