And the Kindersley Fire Dept, lead by Chief Jeff Soveran had extended an invitation to everyone to come out and have a look at all their equipment and talk to the guys and gals who volunteer their time to help keep not just our town but other towns safer as well.

The machine was backed into the building, and, as it moved slowly towards the rear, spot in a playful mood jumped to bite at the trousers of one of the men who was guiding the man at the wheel of the auto.

KFD Holds Open House
The first day of the 2023 Kindersley Goose Festival started off on a very positive vibe.
The Big O’s food and mini donut truck set up and was busy, as was the Beaver Tails food truck. They are both set up in the Co-op parking lot until Sunday morning.
And the Kindersley Fire Dept, lead by Chief Jeff Soveran had extended an invitation to everyone to come out and have a look at all their equipment and talk to the guys and gals who volunteer their time to help keep not just our town but other towns safer as well.
And so it began! Hot dogs were bbqed, chips and drinks available for a donation which was going to towards fire safety education.
The fire simulation trailer was popular as visitors got a first hand glimpse into the world of fighting a fire. Their mascot was walking around taking pictures and greeting everyone. The Philippine band was playing outside and there was much laughing and joking and comraderi as people met up and laughed and told stories.
Even Kevin and Ron were there and did a tick tock video from inside a fire truck!
All and all it was a huge success as many many people came out and toured the beautiful facility and meet with the staff.
You’ll be able to see lots of the fire fighting equipment in the parade on Saturday morning.

1. John - 2/5 - I was really disappointed with the Kfd mascot. It didn't live up to my expectations at all. The costume looked cheaply made and the fabric felt uncomfortable. It didn't even resemble the Kfd character correctly, and the colors were all wrong. Overall, it was a letdown and I wouldn't recommend it.
2. Sarah - 1/5 - I had high hopes for the Kfd mascot, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. The costume was poorly designed, the stitching was coming apart, and the overall quality was extremely low. It was also terribly uncomfortable to wear and difficult to see out of. Not to mention, it didn't even look like the Kfd character! I regretted purchasing it and would not recommend it to anyone.
3. Mike - 3/5 - The Kfd mascot wasn't terrible, but it definitely didn't meet my expectations. The costume was okay, but the colors were a bit off and the sizing was not accurate. It was also a bit difficult to move around in and the quality could have been better. Overall, it was an average mascot costume that didn't really stand out. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but it wasn't the worst either.
4. Emily - 2/5 - I was really excited to get the Kfd mascot, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The fabric felt cheap and uncomfortable, causing me to itch throughout wearing it. The craftsmanship was also poor, with loose threads and uneven seams. Additionally, the overall design didn't accurately represent the Kfd character. It was a disappointment and I would not recommend it to others.
5. Alex - 1/5 - The Kfd mascot was a complete waste of money. The costume was poorly constructed and looked nothing like the Kfd character it was supposed to represent. The material felt low-quality and was incredibly uncomfortable to wear. The colors were also completely incorrect, making it even more disappointing. I would highly advise against purchasing this mascot costume.
