I recommend to those overseas, particulary in the states, that your best bet is to use Chase tone, Joe Gagan, Mconowah, Teese, Kingtone and Area 51 to name but a few for your vintage style wah needs, they all make fantastic pedals and they will be best for pricing and postage and servicing / repairs for you guys in the states. For the guys in the UK or EU who are in the same boat as me with the costings for importing from across the pond, I am around & making a couple of wahs here and there & If anyone's interested just pop me a line and I will let you know when I might have something ready, I have a few to make for people but hopefully will have more soon. I don't build pedals for a living, so my stuff wont be as popular or as frequently found as the others, but I hope to continue making a few wah's here and there for a while to come.

I was gassing myself for years for a boutique wah but could never really commit on which one to get which is one of the reasons why I spent the last 3 years trying out my own tweaked recipe for a clyde kinda circuit. I have messed around with the values on my circuit, there are 6 or 7 subtle value changes to the stock clyde circuit, they work well for me, I have tried to make a wah which is true bypass but sounds and feels like a old clyde which is not true bypass.

Witch hunts and witchcraft accusations were common in South Africa in the early 1990s, and several hundred alleged witches were killed. Western Christianity, influenced by modernity, tends to deny that witchcraft exists, and so fails to prepare Christians to cope with this problem. Many African independent churches, however, have a pre-modern worldview that takes people's fear of witchcraft seriously. In some cases they have managed to change the traditional African perception that witches are incorrigible, and believe that witches can repent and be rehabilitated as members of society. This offers hope that public attitudes to witches can be changed.

This thesis analyzes fourteenth- and fifteenth-century sorcery and witchcraft cases from England and argues that witch-beliefs were developed and spread at the community level. Unlike the 1324 trial of Dame Alice Kyteler in Ireland, there were no inquisitional authorities in England that could have influenced ideas about sorcery, which can be found in legal records from London and Durham. The ideas found within these records reflect medieval laypeople's beliefs about magic, as well as their concerns about urgent social problems.

This paper revisits the phenomenon of witchcraft in relation to religion and the state apparatuses. It addresses the following questions: 1. How did the ISAs function during the witch hunt trials in Europe’s and USA’s witch craze? 2. What were the reasons behind the rise and fall of the witchcraft “epidemic”? Various scholars have attributed the rise of witchcraft to economic crises leading to a catastrophic rise in poverty and food shortages, to meteorological conditions brought about by the “little ice age,” which destroyed crops leading Europe into a period of famine, to the European religious wars, to some diseases that caused collective hysteria. As the majority of witches were poor women, some feminist argued for structural misogyny rooted in Christian religious doctrine. The persecution spread even to the New World. Social and natural catastrophes were attributed to witches who were perceived as wielding satanic powers that they gained through a covenant with Satan and the powers of the Anti-Christ. Both the Church and the State institutions worked hand in hand to rid their Christian societies of witchcraft, using the worst means available: torture, hanging, and burning victims at the stake. Both Catholics and Protestants had a share in this odious practice. It is still a mystery why the State and the Church suddenly stopped their trials over witchcraft accusations, despite the fact that it is still thriving as a belief system and secular entertainment. Some scholars attribute that shift to the early emergence of rational enlightenment ethos and the rise of the scientific worldview. And last but not least, 3. What are the implications for a critical study of witchcraft as a (counter)religious practice governed by the complex working of the ISAs?

2 of my customers are original clyde mccoy script wah owners, they have both been very happy with my wah, not to say that my wah is for everybody though, but it is a nice sounding and feeling pedal. they wont work great put before a vintage style fuzz, but if you have a fuzz with a input trim pot, it will work well. or just put the fuzz before it which many people like to do. I personally dont like using wah and fuzz together, If I do use it I will just use it to accentuate the highs when soloing etc.

Reviews for "The Hitachi Magic Wand Speed Controller: The Ultimate Pleasure Enhancer"

1. Megan - 2/5 stars - I was really excited to try out the Hitachi magic wand speed controller because I had heard so many positive things about it. However, I found it to be quite disappointing. The speed controller did not seem to have much of an effect on the wand's power, and I found it difficult to adjust the speed while using it. Additionally, the controller itself felt cheaply made and was not very user-friendly. Overall, I think there are better options out there for controlling the speed of the magic wand.
2. Alex - 1/5 stars - I had high hopes for the Hitachi magic wand speed controller, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. First of all, the controller stopped working after just a few uses. I tried replacing the batteries, but that didn't fix the issue. Secondly, even when it was working, I didn't notice much of a difference in the wand's speed. It felt like a waste of money overall, and I would not recommend it to others.
3. Jessica - 3/5 stars - The Hitachi magic wand speed controller did its job, but I wasn't overly impressed. While it did allow me to adjust the speed of the wand, I found it to be quite finicky. Sometimes it would take several attempts to get it to change speeds, which was frustrating. Additionally, the controller itself felt cheap and flimsy. It did the job, but I think there are better options out there that offer a more reliable and user-friendly experience.
