Ready to make some magic? We're looking for irrepressible coffee and food lovers to join a small team this fall that will function as the heart of The Good Witch space. As an integral part of the staff, you’ll be pumping out cappuccinos, cold brew and empathy for whatever a guest needs on a daily basis. The Good Witch barista is someone who is ebullient about coffee, food and creating warm guest experiences. Whether you’ve been working in coffee houses for two decades or never pulled a shot of espresso in your life is beside the point (everyone will receive training at the Parlor Coffee roastery in Brooklyn’s Navy Yard). What’s most important is that you really want to be in the coffee world, that you love interacting with customers and delivering white-glove treatment, are excited to learn, able to grow and keen to collaborate in an exciting startup atmosphere.
Looking for a candidate who will commit for at least one year. Hours are M-F, from 6AM- 2PM. This position is PAID hourly plus tips with health insurance contribution.

- Deliver meticulous hospitality to our guests and your fellow teammates
- Work on a team to serve a selection of delicious coffee beverages, such as espresso, lattes, and cold brew.
- Expedite and serve house-made sweet and savory food, including assembly, delivery at the counter and table clearing when needed.
- Stay knowledgeable about Parlor Coffee seasonal roasts and menu offerings through tastings, cuppings and information provided to you by your teammates.
- Drink your and others’ coffee and espresso drinks regularly at The Good Witch to develop a discerning palate and ensure high quality control.
- Support your team in keeping the space running smoothly and beautifully – at times washing dishes, clearing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, cleaning and organizing the milk station, and taking out trash.
- A reliable, punctual nature showing up every day at 600 AM

- ServSafe certification (or within 30 days post-hire) for New York State
