To say I am incredibly proud of our ENTIRE TEAM at Ko Restaurant, Fairmont Kea Lani Maui is simply an understatement. After all you have been through over the last two years the achievements of 🥇- Most Innovative Menu 🥈- Hawai’i Regional Cuisine and then to be named the 2022 Restaurant of the Year is absolutely remarkable! I am purely humbled by all of your efforts and amazed at what you have accomplished. Congratulations to all of the other well deserving recipients at last nights beautiful event including the newly renamed “Tylun Pang Chef of the Year” Chef Taylor Ponte. Our industry is not easy at the best of times but the hard work, perseverance and community that has pulled together here on Maui is something that everyone should be extremely proud of. As Producer of The Magical Mystery Show! directly across the hall from Ko, I eat there often. I entertain guests and dignitaries at Ko often. From the hostesses to the waitstaff and bussers, the experience is THE BEST on Maui. The food is creatively unique without being pretentious. Brent the manager is a dream host. Congratulations Ko! You ALL deserve this for making it work so elegantly! Try the Lobster Tempura if you have not! And the Kobe Beef! And the Chicken Curry! Fantastic!
