Exceeding Magical Attire In the world of magic and fantasy, attire plays a crucial role in showcasing the power, status, and identity of individuals. From flowing robes and shimmering cloaks to intricate jewelry and enchanted accessories, magical attire is not just a fashion statement but a means of expressing one's sorcerous abilities. Magical attire goes beyond the usual clothing and takes on an ethereal quality that reflects the essence of the wearer. Often, these garments incorporate intricate spellwork, symbols, and enchantments that enhance the abilities of the wearer, offering protection, amplifying magical skills, or even bestowing additional powers. One of the defining features of magical attire is its transformative nature. Regular clothing is often imbued with spells that allow it to shift in size, form, or appearance to adapt to the whims and needs of the wearer.
Okay, so maybe here’s one, although I always liked this look. I guess the navy stripes and the jeans are both one color — blue. Plus the green jacket and brown bag, and the shoes are a mix of browns with some black in there as well.
Here are a few more looks I really like This one is pretty much monochromatic, and it incorporates black, of course, so essentially there are only two colors here. But I guess white, being a non-color, gives the eye a place to rest so it doesn t contribute to making the look too busy, which is the point of this 3-color rule.

And finally we come to this. The final FaerieCon post, long overdue. The event ended two weeks ago, and we all try to maintian a little of the FaerieCon magic in our mundane lives. For me, back to the ceramics studio in my standard uniform – jeans, Dansko clogs, a tee shirt.
I don’t dress up very often. Even when I go out, I wear comfortable, stylish clothes – nothing extreme, just plenty of jewelry. FaerieCon give a person a chance to go for it – to exceed the normal. There are Steampunk explorers and chrononauts, faeries of every shape and size, djinn, trolls, ogres, elves… The clothing is creative to the extreme. And there is Good Faeries Ball and Bad Faeries Ball, remember. You have opportunities to showcase your ego, your alter ego…. Items are purchased over the course of the year with costumes in mind. Full ensembles, components, mix and match…with such spectacular results!

It is with sadness that I confess I do not have a picture on my Moresca outfit. Next time. I have wanted a Moresca outfit since i was a teenager and saw their gorgeous clothes at the Maryland Rennaissance Festival. And now I have a reason and a place to wear them!
