There is no shortage of Halloween Spirit around here! Spencer and I have done couples costumes yearly since before we were married. It’s a tradition at this point. One of the reasons I love my mother-in-law is that she always throws good holiday parties. Halloween Spooktaculars are never forgotten, and she goes all out! This year will be our second time doing a murder mystery dinner party with her. The first year was Harry Potter themed, and Spencer and I were given Severus Snape and Bellatrix Lestrange as our dinner party characters. Last year, Halloween 2020, I went a little crazy creating various Disney villain costumes! One of the last-minute versions was a couples costume with my husband featuring Yzma and Pacha from The Emperor’s New Groove. Yet another one of our do-it-yourself cosplays, we went as Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy one year.
