Davorin is utilizing the sea fae as his army due to their resentment over the former Ever King’s death. Erik may be the new king at this time, but his uncle is still in power because the boy is only around fifteen years old. Of course, it’s not as simple as a battle between the earth fae and the sea fae. Rather, each kingdom must relive the curse that they once endured. So they must contend with a curse of blood (Valen’s curse), a sea seeking vengeance, and a plague of darkness.
The beast, Tamlin, states that in the treaty, when a human takes a Faerie life the only option is the human life must be taken by Prythian the Faerie realm. She eventually starts becoming friends with Lucien, Tamlin s best friend who lives at the manor, Alis, the servant who has been assigned to care for her, and also Tamlin himself.

Nesta Archeron is Feyre and Elain Archeron's eldest sister. She, along with her sisters, is High Fae following the events in Hybern.
When Nesta's family lost their wealth she became cold and vicious, hating her father for his unwillingness to try and provide for his daughters. She began lashing out, spending any money they got their hands on in an effort to force her father into action, as she hoped that starving to death would spite him. The fact that this had no effect on him only deepened Nesta's contempt for her father, resulting in her treating him with constant disdain. Despite her apparent dislike of Feyre, later revealed to be shame of Feyre's ability to keep her family alive while their father did nothing, Nesta never treated Elain with anything less than the utmost patience and love.
When Feyre is taken to the Spring Court, Nesta is disgusted at her father's inaction and hires a mercenary to take her to the Wall, though she is unable to find a way through. She is the only one of Feyre's family who is able to resist Tamlin's magical illusion.
