Unraveling the Mystery: The Storyline of Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 3CS

By admin

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 3CS is the third installment in the Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon series, which is a spin-off of the main Bloodstained video game franchise. Developed by Inti Creates, the game follows the retro-style platformer gameplay of its predecessors, while expanding on the lore and introducing new characters and features. Set in a gothic, dark fantasy world, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 3CS continues the story of Zangetsu, the cursed swordsman seeking revenge against the demons that have overrun his homeland. Alongside him, players can control a variety of new characters, each with their own unique abilities and playstyles. These include the sword-wielding Dominique, the gun-wielding Robert, the waifey, Miriam and Hacha the mechanical warrior. The gameplay of Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 3CS combines fast-paced action and precise platforming, reminiscent of classic 8-bit and 16-bit era games.

Toasted Sand Witches

TonTon and I fed the cows, sheep and the useless, non-egg laying, bad tempered, locked up forever in their own little minds chickens, this morning, in a lovely crisp 26F (-5C). One day I shall show you the particularly sexy quilted farm overalls that I don for the job. But not until I know you better.

I had to go and find my sharp garden hoe to bash through the ice in the water troughs. Of course the garden hose is now officially frozen solid and later today I shall put it away for the winter, and then my darlings we are CARRYING buckets of warm water to the animals each morning and evening. One day the barn will have its own water line, but not yet. However as I have told you before this is a tremendous workout for my arms. When I was little my dad used to say to me “And the muscles on her scrawny arms stood out like spiders knees!” It was not kind. He always said it is a Scottish accent. The ‘out’ was an ‘oot’. I have real muscles now Dad!

Also today I will scrub, fill, then plug in all the heated water buckets. Each pen in the barn has one, the chook house has one, even the dogs and cats have one. As an aside the pens in the barn all still have their exterior doors open, so the animals are wandering in and out from their home paddocks, at will.

Food first though I think. I bet that when you were little you thought a sand witch was at the beach. So did I. Every time I heard the word I SAW a Witch made of Sand. A SandWitch on the beach. I still see her with my little girl’s mind’ s eye. She is not pretty. And how does one Toast her?

What is that hunk of old junk doing sitting beside the ham, I hear you say. It is a very old castiron hand iron of course. It is part of my toasted sandwich arsenal. Though some time ago it lost its detachable handle. I know it is around here somewhere. But where?! You see, old irons are not only good as door stops (or toe stoppers as the case may be… ouch), they are useful in the kitchen too!

The fire is hot in the wood stove, the stove top is ready for cooking. So we will compile our ham and cheese toasted sandwich. Just a yellow rubber cheddar today – someone needs to go shopping! Often in NZ the sandwich is called a sammy, and the cheese will not be dyed yellow, just keep that in mind in case you visit.

And on with the hot iron. These came before panini machines you know! Where is that handle? (sigh) It would be very useful at this rather heated juncture.

There. Ham and cheese toasted sammie with onion. Crunchy and squashed. Just the way I like it!! It is not gourmet my darlings. It is lunch!

OK, interlude is over, it is warmer outside now. Beautiful sun today. Time to fill the buckets and get to work.

Ice Cream Sand-Witch

You duck into the grocery store for one thing (something you need for a recipe and/or forgot from the last visit to the store). Once in the store you start thinking about other things you need, and soon you have a cart full of stuff. (And of course you didn’t bring your reusable bags in from the car because you were only supposed to be getting one thing.) All this, and by the time you get home you realize you forgot the one thing you went to the store for in the first place.

This just happened to me today, and not for the first time. I think I should coin it “Grocery Store ADD”, and shopping lists are the only way to cure it. Unfortunately, I didn’t bother making a list because I was only supposed to be getting one thing – gruyère cheese for my cauliflower gratin. The cheese never made it home. Before I could get to the cheese aisle, I had to pass some Halloween displays and the ice cream aisle end cap display. This is what got me derailed:

I’d never noticed this product before, and instantly I had an idea that got me all excited (and forgetful, apparently). The wheels were turning.

With a few store-bought products and the vanilla ice cream I had at home, I could quickly whip up some ice cream witches’ hats for after school snacks. By cutting down the cones, the portion of ice cream becomes just right for kids (or, ahem, moms).

Ice Cream Witches’ Hats

Makes up to 12 hats

  • 1 box Oreo® Cones (12-ct)
  • 1 package Famous Chocolate Wafers
  • Any flavor ice cream
  • 1 tube orange Decorating icing

Set out the ice cream to soften slightly, and clear a flat surface in the freezer.

Using a serrated knife, saw 1” off the wide end of the cones.

Using a teaspoon, fill the mini cones with ice cream. You want just enough to fill the cone; too much extra and the ice cream will ooze out.

Place atop a chocolate wafer and place in the freezer; repeat with remaining cones.

Attach a star-shaped tip to the tube of icing and squeeze little stars around the cone/wafer seam. Return to freezer.

Once ice cream and icing has hardened, carefully place hats in a large freezer bag until ready to serve.

Alternative Halloween ice cream sandwiches:

Place small scoops of ice cream onto chocolate wafers. Top with another wafer and freeze until firm. Roll exposed edges of ice cream in mini chocolate chips, sprinkles or candy corns. Wrap individually in wax paper and freeze until ready to serve.

“We were nuts,” joked Jessie Lorraine Hadcock when thinking back to the decision that would change the life of she and her husband Ryan Mahn. “I mean, we opened a new business, a food business, at the beginning of a pandemic!” Talk about a plot twist. When they made the bold move in 2019, little did they know what would be coming in 2020. Their story would make a great mini-series. Both were top morning show producers in Toronto radio for a decade. Jessie was John Moore’s go-to person at Newstalk 1010 while Ryan worked over at The FAN 590.

Jessie Lorraine Hadcock and Ryan Mahn own the Sand Witches food truck business. They are joined by Hadcock’s twin sister Ann Marie. SUPPLIED PHOTO “It was an amazing experience but the writing was on the wall for radio,” said Jessie. But what to do? Any conversation with media people over a coffee always broaches this topic: Some want to becoming writers of books or movies or get back to their first-love of acting, go into politics or open a business. This couple wanted to do something fun where they could be their own boss.

Reviews for "Unlocking Hidden Secrets: Easter Eggs in Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 3CS"

1. John - 2/5 stars: I was really disappointed with "Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 3CS". While the pixel art and music were enjoyable, the game lacked depth and felt repetitive. The levels were too short and the difficulty was all over the place, making it frustrating to progress. The story was also quite underwhelming, leaving me feeling uninvested in the characters. Overall, I found the game to be a lackluster experience that didn't live up to its potential.
2. Sarah - 1/5 stars: "Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 3CS" was a complete letdown for me. The controls were clunky and unresponsive, making it difficult to execute precise moves during combat. The enemy variety was lacking, leading to repetitive and stale gameplay. Additionally, the level design was uninspired and lacked any memorable moments. It's a shame because I had high hopes for this game, but in the end, it just fell flat.
3. Mike - 3/5 stars: While "Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 3CS" had its moments, I found it to be a mixed bag. The graphics and nostalgic soundtrack were great, but the gameplay felt unbalanced. Some levels were way too easy, while others were incredibly frustrating and felt unfair. The lack of a cohesive story made it difficult to feel invested in the game, and the overall experience left me wanting more. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to others unless they're big fans of the genre.
4. Emily - 2/5 stars: Unfortunately, "Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 3CS" didn't live up to the hype for me. The platforming mechanics felt clunky and imprecise, leading to many frustrating deaths. The difficulty spike between levels was inconsistent, making the game feel unbalanced. I also found the enemy AI to be quite dull, lacking any real challenge. Overall, I was hoping for a more polished and enjoyable experience, but I was left underwhelmed.
