I recently attended a Blood Red Raiders game and was completely appalled by their mascot. The mascot was not only offensive and culturally insensitive, but it also perpetuated harmful stereotypes. It is shocking that in this day and age, a sports team would choose such a disrespectful mascot. I hope they reconsider and choose a more inclusive and respectful representation.

Although I enjoyed the game itself, I couldn't help but cringe every time the Blood Red Raiders mascot came onto the field. The costume looked outdated and poorly designed. It didn't even resemble a raider, let alone a blood red one. It's disappointing to see a team with such potential ignore such an important aspect of their brand. I think they should invest in a new mascot that is more visually appealing and better embodies their team spirit.

As a parent, I was extremely disappointed with the Blood Red Raiders mascot. It was terrifying for young children, and my son was traumatized by it. The aggressive demeanor and creepy appearance really detracted from the overall positive experience of watching a game. I hope the team realizes the impact their mascot has on their audience, especially the younger fans, and takes the necessary steps to create a more child-friendly and less frightening representation.
