The Power of Belief: Can Mindset Help Break the Curse?

By admin

As long as the curse persists, the village remains trapped in a state of despair. The curse, which has plagued this community for countless generations, has cast a dark shadow over the lives of its inhabitants. The origins of this curse are shrouded in mystery, with whispers of an ancient ritual gone wrong that brought upon the wrath of supernatural forces. Whatever the true story may be, the effect of the curse is undeniable. Every aspect of life in this village has been tainted by the curse. Crops wither and die despite the farmers' best efforts, leaving the community in a perpetual state of hunger and poverty.

It´s a super strong nobrainer zerg ability as it stands. We fought a grp of 5 absolutely terrible sorcs yesterday. The only feat they achieved was cursing our stam players every 12s.
Which alone with the possibility of mages wrath explosion puts you in the defensive.

Persistence through rezing seems kind of cool from a necromancer stand point however taking 5k from respawning shouldn t be too big of a deal, since you probably respawn with more than 5k HP and no enemies around you, so shouldn t be too game breaking however should be fixed. As long as the curse persists

Crops wither and die despite the farmers' best efforts, leaving the community in a perpetual state of hunger and poverty. The once-thriving market square now lies empty, its stalls abandoned as the curse drives away any potential customers. Even the simplest joys of life, such as laughter and happiness, have become rare commodities as the curse saps away the village's spirit.

As long as the curse persists

I see no way to dispel a curse.. I keep seeing people use that Curse that says "for as long as it is cursed" yet i can't find a card that actually removes curses afterwards.

I only see a fast spell "Unseal" to negate a curse before it happens but nothing to clear existing curses.

These creators forgot something so simple to add in the game.

The curse you're talking about is permafrost, a very popular curse. Anything that gives endurance will also destroy that curse as it prevents a unit from being stunned. You can also silence your unit and it will silence the curse as well.

+1 to both answers. Also, unit curses ( other than silence ) is just as easy to remove . 'return unit to players hand' is not just usefull against your apponent ( sends any weapons they have to the void ) played against one of your own units it also gives you the oppertunity to refire effects such as 'summon' and 'ultimate' among others as well as negating a block.

Unwavering Exorcist has Summon: Kill an enemy curse.

But I have yet to make this try or make this work. It can't remove permafrost, that's for sure.

Really? I mean Permafrost is a curse it should be able to do it. If that's really the case send a bug report ingame :)

If i curse a unit with Caltrops and the unit blocks and dies and goes to void. can they now play that unit? If so, that card is pretty worthless because clearly they will always do that option to start playing more of that unit.

The card doesn't state "for as long as the unit is alive" or "for as long as the unit is cursed".. so it makes it seem like it persists after that unit dies but i need clarification.

As soon as a unit leaves the field, all curses are removed from it. So the unit would no longer be affected by Caltrops once it dies.

Yes, Caltrops is a fairly weak card. Not all cards are created equal.

For every Caltrops, there's an Avigraft. The world is fair like that. 10 янв. 2019 в 21:58

Caltrops should add one extra effect then.. "cursed unit cannot block". that way it has to stay there until the player sacrifices it somehow.

The only use I can think of tbh is as a filler/intermediary between Downfall and Vanquish/Dead or Alive, but even then, a rather bad filler at that . It's not a good removal as it remains as a blocker and still receive buffs ( not that anyone would do that unless theyre on their last copy of it and/or only running one copy ) Nor is it a very good curse, as you mentioned. Would be interisting to see if anyone actually uses it, except maybe some obscure/demented shadow synergy that I can't fathom at the moment :P

Then again . now that I think of it, if you are playing a curse deck that double curses it ( there are curses on entomb ) it might make sense seeing as there are units that depends on curses ( unseen for example )

Is Dead or Alive even played much? Seems suboptimal. I could be wrong since I can see how DoA ->Harsh would be good times but 10 power is a lot.

As long as the curse persists

Over the years, countless attempts have been made to break the curse. Wise men and women from far and wide have come to the village, armed with ancient texts and arcane knowledge, but all their efforts have been in vain. The curse seems invincible, laughing in the face of their futile attempts to eradicate it. Despair has settled in the hearts of the villagers, as they resign themselves to the belief that the curse will forever be a part of their lives. Yet, amidst the hopelessness, a glimmer of defiance remains. A small group of villagers, led by a brave and determined individual, refuses to accept the inevitability of the curse. They gather in secret, plotting and planning, desperate to find a way to break free from the curse's clutches. Their unwavering spirit is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of hope. As long as the curse persists, the village will remain locked in a cycle of suffering. But as long as there are those who refuse to surrender, there is a chance for change. The battle against the curse may be long and arduous, filled with setbacks and obstacles, but the villagers will not give up. They will fight, tooth and nail if necessary, to break free from the curse's grip. For in their hearts, they know that as long as there is hope, there is a chance for redemption. The curse may be powerful, but it is not unbeatable. And one day, through sheer determination and unwavering belief, the village will be freed from its shadowy curse. As long as there is a flicker of hope, the curse will never triumph..

Reviews for "The Curse of Love: Navigating Relationships under the Shadow of Misfortune"

1. Jane - 2 stars - I was really excited to read "As long as the curse persists" because I love supernatural romance novels. However, I was disappointed with this book. The characters felt flat and one-dimensional, making it hard for me to connect with them. The pacing was also incredibly slow, with long stretches of nothing happening. I found myself skimming through large portions of the book just to get to something interesting. Overall, it felt like a missed opportunity and I wouldn't recommend it.
2. Tom - 1 star - I don't understand the hype around "As long as the curse persists." It's supposed to be a paranormal romance, but I found the romance aspect severely lacking. The relationship between the main characters felt forced and lacked chemistry. The dialogue was also cringe-worthy and made it difficult for me to take the story seriously. The writing style was amateurish, with repetitive phrases and unnecessary descriptions. I struggled to finish this book and was left feeling unsatisfied.
3. Emma - 2 stars - I had high hopes for "As long as the curse persists" based on the positive reviews I had read. However, I found it to be a predictable and cliché story. The plot was formulaic and offered nothing unique or fresh. The characters were generic and lacked depth, making it hard for me to care about their fates. The writing felt rushed and lacked polish. Overall, it was a forgettable read that didn't live up to my expectations.
4. Mike - 3 stars - "As long as the curse persists" had an interesting premise that caught my attention. However, the execution fell flat for me. The pacing was uneven, with too much time spent on unnecessary details and too little time on important plot points. The world-building was underdeveloped, leaving many questions unanswered. While the concept was intriguing, I wished it had been explored more thoroughly. It had potential but ultimately missed the mark for me.
