Tusk V was literally born to be the Razorback. Taking over for his father, Tusk IV, who retired following the 2019 NCAA Baseball Super Regional at Baum-Walker Stadium, Tusk V debuted as the University of Arkansas’ official live mascot at the opening football game of the 2019 season.
“Earlier this fall, Tusk V arrived on campus to carry on the longstanding legacy of the live mascot program at the University of Arkansas,” said Hunter Yurachek, vice chancellor and director of athletics. “Thanks to the tremendous loving care and extraordinary commitment of the Keith and Julie Stokes family, this beloved University of Arkansas tradition continues much to the delight of Razorbacks everywhere. The live mascot program is an integral part of our Razorback heritage. After all, we are ONE state rallied around ONE Razorback!”

1) John - 1 star - I was severely disappointed with the Arkansas live mascot at the football game. The mascot looked tired and disinterested in interacting with the crowd. It felt like they were just going through the motions without any enthusiasm. The costume also looked a bit outdated and worn out. Overall, it was a lackluster experience that didn't add any excitement to the game.
2) Sarah - 2 stars - The Arkansas live mascot was a letdown. The person inside the costume didn't seem to have any energy or excitement. The movements were slow and awkward, and it was difficult to tell what animal they were supposed to be. The kids in the crowd didn't seem engaged or interested in interacting with the mascot either. It was a forgettable experience and didn't enhance the game day atmosphere at all.
3) Mark - 2 stars - I had high expectations for the Arkansas live mascot, but it fell short. The mascot's costume looked outdated and it didn't match the quality of other mascots I've seen at different events. The person inside the costume seemed disengaged and didn't try to interact with the crowd. It's a shame because a lively and enthusiastic mascot can really elevate the fan experience, but this one missed the mark.
4) Emily - 1 star - The Arkansas live mascot was a disappointment. The person inside the costume lacked energy and enthusiasm, which made it difficult to get excited about the game. Additionally, the costume itself looked worn out and outdated. I would have expected more from the mascot of such a popular team. Overall, it was a lackluster performance that did not enhance the game day experience.
