Book Review: Tales of the Sea Witch

I’ve read yet another awesome indie novel. I’m excited to share my thoughts with you on Tales of the Sea Witch by Lou Wilham today.

A while back, Lou asked me to read and honestly review this book. I’m glad I finally gave it a read because once I began, I couldn’t put it down.

If you’re a fan of the Little Mermaid (the film and the original tale), then this review is for you.

A tale of the sea wutch

One night, a powerful storm arises, causing chaos and destruction. John's boat is caught in the tempest, and he is left helpless amidst the raging waves. Just when he fears the worst, a figure emerges from the depths of the sea. It is the sea witch, who reveals herself to be a mesmerizing yet terrifying sight. In a deep and haunting voice, the sea witch offers John a deal. She promises to spare his life and guide him safely through the storm, but in return, he must give up a precious possession. John hesitates, unsure of whether to trust the sea witch or not. But with no other choice, he agrees to the bargain, surrendering a cherished family heirloom. True to her word, the sea witch guides John's boat through the storm, bringing calmness to the once turbulent waters. As they emerge on the other side, the sea witch disappears back into the depths, leaving John in awe of her power and mystery. The tale of the sea witch serves as a cautionary reminder of the dangers that lurk beneath the surface of the sea. It teaches us to heed warnings and respect the unknown forces of nature. It also illustrates the complex nature of good and evil, as the sea witch, although feared and feared, ultimately offers salvation and guidance in a time of need..
