Choosing the Right Crystals and Gemstones for Your Witchcraft Bag

By admin

Witchcraft Bag Plan: Creating a witchcraft bag can be a personal and powerful practice for anyone interested in witchcraft or the occult. A witchcraft bag, often referred to as a charm bag or spell bag, is a small pouch filled with various items that hold symbolic or magical significance. These bags are often used to manifest intentions, attract positive energy, or provide protection. To create a witchcraft bag, start by selecting the right bag or pouch. This can be a small fabric drawstring bag, a velvet pouch, or any other type of container that feels meaningful and representative of your craft. Consider the color, material, and size of the bag, as these elements can enhance the bag's energy.

One of my all-time favorite activities to do with my students is to make Witch’s Brew in a Cup. I have been doing this activity for years and my students who visit from previous years always bring it up as one of their favorite memories.

But seriously, if you want a non traditional treat to hand out at Halloween, or cute treat bag to send with the kiddos to school on Halloween then check out this witches brew treat bag. Make your home horror central when you strategically place our Chucky Bump N Go doll so new visitors will be greeted with that familiar voice from Child s Play saying I m Chucky.

Witch’s Brew in a Cup: A Classroom Halloween Activity

One of my all-time favorite activities to do with my students is to make Witch’s Brew in a Cup. I have been doing this activity for years and my students who visit from previous years always bring it up as one of their favorite memories.

At the end of October, I introduce main idea and details to my students. I decided this activity is a great introduction and it is delicious too.

I wrote a poem to make Witch’s Brew in a Cup. I put it on a single sheet and I also made a mini booklet with the poem. To prep for this activity, you will want to send home the wish list to your parents or purchase the items yourself. Here is a picture of the ingredients you will need.

Once you have your ingredients, you will want to print the Halloween-themed labels and put them on paper bags. I like to have one bag per student so they can all participate. To do this, you will just split up the ingredients needed in the bags. I highly recommend waiting until the morning before you plan to do it as sometimes the ingredients get the bag a little greasy.

Once you have the bags prepped, pass out the mini books and give each child a bag. I bring the poem up front with me and we gather around in a large circle on the floor. I like to use a large cauldron to collect the ingredients. I also like to wear a witch’s hat just for some extra fun. You will need a large spoon to mix the ingredients. Then, you simply read your way through the booklet or poem and add the ingredients. If a student has “toad noses” when you get to that part, then they come up and dump it into the cauldron.

After you mix up the snack, you get to enjoy the treat. I have just recently made this one of my “snack in a cup” activities because I loved all the extensions that go along with the snack. You can grab a bundle of different snack-in-a-cup activities here.

Once we have finished mixing the snack, I dish it out into cups and then I introduce main idea and details with the colorful posters I created. We review what we put in the brew and have a great discussion.

There are several other extensions you can do once you have made it. There are writing extensions, graphing, sequencing activities, and a matching activity.

We love to make the paper craft to match the snack. I have included two kinds of crafts in this product. There is a color and cut craft and a cut and paste craft. You can use the craft to graph if they like Witch’s Brew in a Cup or not. There is a little recipe card you can send home with the children at the end of the day, too.

Here is what a few buyers had to say about Witch’s Brew in a Cup:

“My 1st grade students absolutely loved this resource! It was a fun Halloween activity that also reinforced the reading and writing skills we’ve been practicing so far this year. It was so engaging and fun that they didn’t really realize they were learning! I’ll most certainly use it again next year!!”

“It is almost May and my class STILL talks about this activity every time I mention main idea! So much fun and will for sure be doing every year!”

“My team and I loved this resource for our Witches Brew activity. It was so easy to follow and the students were thrilled about this. They still talk about it to this day!”

Witchcraft bag plan

Each item should hold significance and align with the intention of your bag. For example, if you are creating a protection bag, you may choose to include a small piece of black tourmaline, a protective herb like sage or rosemary, and maybe a symbol of a pentacle or an evil eye. Once you have gathered the items, cleanse them to remove any negative or unwanted energy. This can be done by smudging them with sage, passing them through incense smoke, or using other cleansing methods that resonate with you. It is important to set the intention for each item as you cleanse it, infusing it with the purpose and energy you desire. After cleansing, place each item into your bag. As you do so, visualize the bag's purpose and the energy you want it to hold. You can also speak an incantation or affirmation to further charge the bag with your intention. For example, you might say, "I fill this bag with protection and ward off any negative energy. May it bring me safety and peace." Once all the items are in the bag, close it tightly, ensuring that none of the contents can fall out. You may choose to tie it with a cord, ribbon, or seal it with wax, whatever feels right for you. Some witches even choose to decorate the bag further with sigils, symbols, or embroidery. Finally, charge and activate your witchcraft bag by setting it on your altar, in the moonlight, or by holding it in your hands and visualizing your intention. You can also empower it by adding a drop of your own blood or saliva, speaking an incantation, or even sleeping with it under your pillow. Remember to periodically cleanse and recharge your witchcraft bag to maintain its effectiveness. You can do this by repeating the cleansing process and adding new items that align with your changing needs and goals. In conclusion, creating a witchcraft bag is a personal and sacred practice that can enhance your witchcraft journey. Through careful selection of items, intention setting, and charging, a witchcraft bag can serve as a powerful tool in manifesting desires and connecting with higher energies. Explore and experiment to find what works best for you, and enjoy the magic that comes with creating and using your own witchcraft bag..

Reviews for "How to Use Runes to Amplify the Energy in Your Witchcraft Bag"

- Rachel - 2/5 stars - I was really excited to try out the Witchcraft bag plan, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The bags were supposed to have all these magical properties that would make my life easier, but they were just like any other regular bags. The promised spells and enchantments were nowhere to be found. I felt like the whole concept was just a gimmick to make money, and I ended up feeling disappointed and deceived.
- Mark - 1/5 stars - The Witchcraft bag plan was a complete waste of money for me. Not only did the bags not perform any of the magical functions they claimed to have, but they were also of poor quality. The stitching came undone after only a couple of uses, and the materials used felt cheap and flimsy. I wouldn't recommend this plan to anyone looking for actual magical bags, as you'll only be left with disappointment and regret.
- Emily - 2/5 stars - I really wanted to believe in the Witchcraft bag plan, but unfortunately, it fell flat. The bags were advertised as having special compartments and hidden pockets designed for storing magical items, but in reality, they were just regular bags with no special features. The pricing was also quite high for what you're getting. I ended up returning mine and getting a refund because I felt misled by the marketing claims. Not worth the hype.
