1. Emily - 1 star - I was really disappointed with "Witchcraft and Alchemy." The plot was weak and the characters were one-dimensional. I couldn't connect with any of them and found myself not caring about what happened to them. The writing style was also quite dull and lacked any spark. Overall, I found the book to be a complete waste of time and would not recommend it to anyone.

The author spent too much time describing the surroundings and not enough time developing the story or the characters. The pacing was slow, and I found myself skimming through paragraphs just to get to the point. The ending was also very anticlimactic, leaving me unsatisfied. I had high hopes for this book, but unfortunately, it didn't deliver.
