Hello just bought a theatre of magic game and got a good deal on it.
It's one of the games on my hit list of games to get. you all know what
im talking about. Any ways the game works great except for one thing.
During game play as you hit the truck 3 times like your supose to. It
will start rotating to the side that has the door. If you hit the truck
while rotating the truck will go back the other way and stop it a wierd
postion. ( not quite straight i guess im trying to say) And it just
stops for the rest of the game and next game.When i open the door and go
into test report it says truck error message. When I turn the machine
off and start it back up it goes in diagnostic reset and works fine
until it happens again and message is gone. I have ready similar posts.
check the software. it has the 1.3 version. Check the wires under the
truck shaft and i did and they were twisted so i disconnected them and
nothing changed. I check the opto intrupter and it's the standard black
disc and doesn't appear to be cracked in any way. I also checked the
opto postion board and it appears theres no damage to it. When i start
up the game i go into truck test i can rotate it back and forth and the
opto register fine. pretty lost here. I propbably not the best pinball
tech in the world but i work on them pretty regualarly. I'm thinking it
might be something in the cpu. please offer some help. call me or text
