I understand that most here praise Choi Woo-shik a lot cos I agree. But how about Kim Da-Mi? Her acting is so good. Her character drenched in blood while killing with a face that is so scary and so on point it gives you chills.

I was unaware of this movie until someone who followed me on Letterboxd brought it to my attention one day, and I have to say this is a pretty fun movie that follows many of the tropes of YA novels, especially those with a superhero or dystopian themes.
We see glimpses of intense action sequences, as Ja-yoon fights against trained assassins and manipulates objects with her mind. The trailer also hints at a larger conspiracy, as Ja-yoon discovers her true origins and the secrets behind her powers. The Witch: Part 1 – The Subversion trailer effectively builds tension and intrigue, leaving the audience wanting to know more about Ja-yoon and her journey.

1. John - 2/5 stars - I watched the trailer for "The Witch Part 1: The Subversion" and I have to say, I wasn't impressed. The plot seemed confusing and disjointed, and the action sequences looked more like a poorly choreographed mess than anything else. The acting also appeared to be quite overdone, with characters delivering their lines with little authenticity. Overall, the trailer didn't leave me excited or intrigued about the film, and I don't think I'll be giving it a watch.
