French live-action animal actors, having water poured on them, lifted up in a hot air balloon, and bashed in the nose with a stick. Aside from questionable animal cruelty, it's a bit of colorized fun, with a space monkey and a quickly-done-away-with hairy spider. It's a recipe for golden stew, so I am a bit bummed that I didn't enjoy this as much as I should have. A cat plays an organ for christ's sake! Birds chirp in a harmonic vocally tuned choir! Pigs saw wood and dogs pour whiskey!
My guess is, glue appears likely to have been involved, and also that it couldn t be made in a first-world country under modern standards for animal use in films. A couple of years ago, I googled cat playing organ magic sceptre or somesuch, and lo and behold, after viewing about 100 clips of somebody s pet tabby.
