"The Magic Hour Book" is a highly acclaimed novel written by award-winning author Kristin Hannah. The story is set in the fictional town of Rain Valley, Washington, and revolves around the lives of two central characters, Dr. Julia Cates and Ellie Barton. Dr. Julia Cates is a successful plastic surgeon who has spent most of her life focusing on her career and putting her patients' needs before her own. However, after a life-altering tragedy strikes, Julia finds herself questioning her life and the choices she has made.
The Hogwarts Magical Trunk is one of four new LEGO Harry Potter sets due 1 March 2022. The set is colourful, and while to some extent similar to the buildable books we got in January 2021 in its ability to open it up and create minifigure-scaled scenes, there are differences too. LEGO has kindly sent me an advance copy to review. Here are my thoughts…
A trunk full of fun The trunk contains furniture that magically reconfigures, accessories from the movies and an assortment of minifigure parts that kids can combine to create different characters. Authentic accessories The Sorting Hat, potions, a cauldron, a potion-making book, the Marauder s Map, Bertie Bott s Every Flavor Beans , The Quibbler, goblets, cookies, a chessboard and an owl.
However, after a life-altering tragedy strikes, Julia finds herself questioning her life and the choices she has made. In an effort to rediscover herself, she decides to leave her high-profile job and return to her hometown of Rain Valley, where she takes up a position at a local clinic. Ellie Barton is an eight-year-old girl who suffers from a rare and potentially fatal genetic disease.
