This book is The Littlest Witch by Jeanne Massey, illustrated by Adrienne Adams. It was copyright 1959 and was published by Alfred A. Knopf The cover says this is a "Reinforced Edition". I do not know when this edition was printed.This copy is a hardcover ex library book. It has been covered with that heavy plastic, but it does have a sticker on it. On the scan of the cover you can see the sticker. The black magic marker is on the plastic cover, but the sticker is on the book itself. I do not know if it is going to take the finish with it if you try and get it off. It has the usual stamps, stickers, card pocket, etc. The interior pages are in pretty good shape. A little soiling, but not bad. This book was well-used and well-read.It measures 10 1/4" x 7 3/4". The illustrations are wonderful.
