It s a parable of the sort of horrific misogyny women have had to deal with for centuries, dressed up as light torture porn, but it s done fairly brisk business since its premiere as a video-on-demand in February 2021.

Drake dè Mon was a powerful Mercury Demon who struck a deal with a sorcerer to make him human for a year, on the condition that he give up his immortality after experiencing life with a human soul. Drake met the Charmed Ones near the end of this year, when he applied for the position of Literature Professor at Magic School. He became romantically involved with Phoebe Halliwell and reminded her of her capacity to love before he moved on.
Right before his death, it was revealed that all of this was actually a plan set up by Cole Turner from the Cosmic Void, who led Drake to the Sorcerer in exchange for helping Phoebe open herself up to love again.

She disguised herself as a beautiful maiden and approached him while he was practicing. Marcus was captivated by her allure and invited her to listen to him play more often. In secret, however, Morgana had ulterior motives. She longed to have the violin for herself, as it possessed a powerful enchantment that could grant her immeasurable power. The violin had originally belonged to a drake, a mythical creature known for its fire-breathing abilities. The drake had crafted the violin using its scales and infused it with the essence of its flames. Soon enough, Morgana's true intentions became evident. She attempted to steal the violin from Marcus, but he was not an ordinary musician. His passion for the violin was pure, and the music he created was filled with love and joy. One evening, as Morgana tried to steal the violin, Marcus's fervent playing awakened the drake. The drake emerged from the depths of the forest, enraged that its creation was being misused. It attacked Morgana and reclaimed the violin, returning it to Marcus. Realizing the chaos her desire for power had caused, Morgana retreated back to her lair, vowing to change her wicked ways. Marcus, grateful for the intervention of the drake, continued to play the violin but now with a newfound appreciation for its history and power. The instrument, the witch, and the drake taught Marcus a valuable lesson about the importance of pure intentions and the consequences of using power irresponsibly. The violin became not only an instrument of beauty but also a symbol of love and redemption..
