The Texas Tech mascot nickname is the Red Raiders. The nickname was adopted in 1936, and it has since become a symbol of pride and tradition for the university. The Red Raiders nickname is a reference to the university's proud history and strong athletic programs. The origin of the Red Raiders nickname is not entirely clear. Some believe that it was inspired by a group of students who were known for their tenacity and determination, while others think it was a play on the university's colors of red and black. Regardless of its origins, the nickname has stuck and has become synonymous with Texas Tech.
Witch queen deluxe upgrade
I'm quite a new player (35 hours) and wondering if it is worth buying deluxe version of witch queen, given I already have the season 18 pass? Or just go for basic version? Need to take into account I only play a couple of hours a day, and not that intensely. I still haven't finished new light coz I got sidetracked by just having fun doing strike and cosmodrome bounties! Actually blocked at moment because I need to defeat a nightfall boss, but current nightfall requires an expansion. Does that happen often?
Сообщения 1 – 15 из 21 8 окт. 2022 в 4:05if you want to get into the latest content, armors, weapons, missions, exotics, a raid. ect then yes it's worth it. I say maybe at discount price thats when you grab it.
8 окт. 2022 в 4:49You will have the witch queen forever and you will also have the dungeons that come out this year forever too
highly worht it in the long run dude even if oyu can play all the time just a few hours a week in the CURRENT content is enough to get most of what you want along with some cool transmog sets and cosmetics
8 окт. 2022 в 4:51the current nightfall is GLASSWAY , this is a BEYOND LIGHT boss.
it does happen oftenish, half of the nightfalls are free to play bosses, the other half are expansion bosses from shadowkeep, beyond light or witch queen
8 окт. 2022 в 8:14Expect them to remove that DLC from you within the next year or maybe a bit longer and force you to buy another DLC to conntinue playing. They have removed 180 euros worth of content so far including the campaign and not givin a single thing back.
But if you are okay with paying for a temporary content you might have fun with for a while then go for it.

They already said that they weren't sunsetting any more content (apart from seasonal stuff) 8 окт. 2022 в 9:06
Just get Lightfall instead cause once it comes out all the other past DLCs will become irrelevant, just like Forsaken and Shadowkeep.

Yea, i won't trust them ever again, 180 euros lost is 180 euros too much worth of content not giving back a single thing.
I wouldn't really. This game is kind of dog ass to be honest. Very little content. All the weapons are essentially the same with different models, speed of fire, and sounds. 90% of the content is just lifted from the weak campaigns. It's all mostly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy that it'll put you to sleep. The loot is a boring level designed for console gamers. Just making numbers bigger. There is no real loot itemization and builds.
8 окт. 2022 в 11:09I know for a fact that I used to have Forsaken, and Beyond light. Now I have access to none of these things when coming back to the game and it tells me to purchase DLC. So if I were you I would be careful investing in D2.
8 окт. 2022 в 11:44Worth it? Let's see.
Will you play the dungeons?
Will you play the seasonal content from past seasons (the only way to get old season is the deluxe package)?
If the above is yes, you might well feel it's worth it. I can't speak for you, for me it's been worth it.
Now, for the negative people.
"Expect them to remove that DLC from you within the next year or maybe a bit longer"
Nothing removed wasn't over three years old.
"Yea, i won't trust them ever again,"
They never claimed they would not remove content. They have said they are not removing any more expansions. I think it's you who people might not trust.
"I know for a fact that I used to have Forsaken, and Beyond light. Now I have access to none of these things when coming back"
If you got those on console, they don't follow you here, each expansion is licensed per platform. No, linking your console account to your PC account does not give you access to content you got on console.

This might be your opinion, many of us don't share it. But, if that's the case, why are you here, an activist? What a waste of time.
Thanks for the responses, was just trying to work out if diff between base witch queen and deluxe is worth it given i got the s18 pass already, so i’d be paying the extra for a £12 season pass for s19 and a couple of dungeons. Think i’ll just go with the base, probably wait for sale unless i run out of content.

Just to note you'd be getting the passes for S16 and S17 too.
As to your original question if you intent to keep playing the game going forward into Lightfall and beyond then I'd say yes, it's probably worth it to get the deluxe pack. That's a lot of resources for a fairly new player. Those resources from the passes plus the dungeon specific weapons and armour are quite the haul, set you up nicely for the next expansion, even if you do only play a couple of hours a day.
I'm not sure what the dungeons cost separately but I think they're a tenner a piece, ish, so for the extra you're getting 56 quid of content. There is also the possibility of you getting a reduction on account of you already having the S18 pass, I've heard that said in the past but I honestly don't know whether it's true or not mate.
One other thing to consider. With only a season and a half to go will getting the deluxe pack leave you short for Lightfall? That one I can't answer. Whatever you decide do do like trukr indicated and ignore the doomsayers, they're just trying to steal the jam out of your doughnut mate.
See you out there
This is something I didn't understand when I bought Witch Queen and the current season pass.
There's a lot of content still running from S16 and S17, and a lot of people are still doing it actively. I struggled over whether to buy the Witch Queen Deluxe Upgrade, but after I had it I was *very* glad I had done so.

Once the season is done, what’s left to keep/do?
10 окт. 2022 в 9:56It's hard to say, I bought the base dlc then upgraded to the deluxe it's weird I feel like I'm only getting half the content I paid for without the deluxe. The only use for it is getting to unlock last seasons stuff (depends on what lvl you reached), this seasons pass, the next and the 2 dungeons. And prior seasonal content. Up to you unless you wanna buy them all separatey.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Deluxe Edition PC - DLC
This DLC offers many new weapons, but the main takeaway from this 60nzd DESTINY 2 [D2] DLC is the Gjallahorn. Being arguably the best heavy weapon the game has ever seen, it is the best take away from this DLC. The only downside to this DLC is the pricing. I purchased this DLC whilst a 70% discount was occurring, I recommend you wait for a discount before buying this DLC.

Reviews for "Celebrating Traditions: The Texas Tech Mascot Nickname Through the Years"
1. John Doe - 1 star
As an alumni of Texas Tech, I am incredibly disappointed with the choice of a mascot nickname. The "Texas tech mascot nickname" lacks originality and fails to represent the true spirit and values of the university. It feels like a lazy and unimaginative choice that doesn't resonate with the students, alumni, or the community. There were so many potential options that would have been more fitting and emblematic of Texas Tech's history and culture. This decision is a missed opportunity to create a mascot that could have united and energized the Texas Tech community.
2. Jane Smith - 2 stars
I can't say I'm impressed with the "Texas tech mascot nickname" at all. It feels like a forced attempt to appeal to a younger generation without considering the rich traditions and heritage of Texas Tech. The nickname lacks charm and personality, and it simply falls flat. I was hoping for something more meaningful and representative of the university's values and achievements. It's disappointing to see such a lackluster choice for a mascot nickname, especially considering there were better options available.
3. Robert Johnson - 1 star
The "Texas tech mascot nickname" is a complete letdown. It doesn't capture the essence of Texas Tech and feels like a generic nickname that could belong to any university. There was a golden opportunity to create something unique and memorable, but instead, the choice feels lazy and uninspired. As an alumni, I can't help but feel disappointed and disconnected from a mascot nickname that lacks any true identity or significance. It's a shame that Texas Tech settled for mediocrity instead of aiming for greatness with their mascot nickname.
4. Sarah Thompson - 2 stars
I must admit, I was expecting more from the "Texas tech mascot nickname." It feels like a missed opportunity to showcase the true spirit and pride of Texas Tech. The chosen nickname lacks originality and character, and it doesn't resonate with me as an alumni. It's unfortunate that the university didn't explore other possibilities and instead settled for a safe and unremarkable choice. I was hoping for a mascot nickname that would unite and inspire the Texas Tech community, but sadly, this is not it.
5. Michael Wilson - 1 star
As a long-time supporter of Texas Tech, I am deeply disappointed with the "Texas tech mascot nickname." It feels like a decision made without considering the opinions and desires of the university's community. The chosen nickname does not reflect the legacy and achievements of Texas Tech and fails to generate any excitement or pride. This is a missed opportunity to create a mascot nickname that could have been iconic and representative of the university's values. I hope that Texas Tech reconsiders this choice and listens to the voices of its alumni and students.
