1. Jane - 2/5 stars - The Story of Magic was a disappointment for me. I found the plot to be predictable and lacking in originality. The characters were one-dimensional and I found it hard to connect with any of them. The writing style felt simplistic and didn't engage me as a reader. Overall, I was underwhelmed by this book and wouldn't recommend it to others.
2. David - 1/5 stars - I couldn't get into The Story of Magic at all. The pacing was incredibly slow and I kept waiting for something exciting or interesting to happen, but it never did. The world-building was weak and I didn't feel a sense of immersion in the magical world the author was trying to create. The dialogue was also very clunky and unnatural. Unfortunately, this book was a major letdown for me.
3. Emily - 2/5 stars - I had high hopes for The Story of Magic, but it fell short of my expectations. The story felt disjointed and disjointed with too many subplots that didn't add much to the overall narrative. The writing was also littered with clichés and the characters were largely forgettable. It lacked the depth and originality I was hoping for and I struggled to stay engaged throughout. Overall, I was disappointed with this book and wouldn't recommend it.
