I won this ARC from a giveaway by Rafael of The Royal Polar Bear Reads a few weeks ago. It’s my first every physical ARC and I am so grateful! I thought I’d have to read the first books in the series first, but I realized this was a companion novel and it could stand alone. And so, I dived in!
This book was a nice, short read! The story weaved tales of unrequited love, dark magic, forgiving mistakes, fulfilling destinies, and families.

- Emily - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Squishmallow frog toy dressed as a witch. First of all, the quality of the toy was quite poor. The stitching was coming undone in several places, and after just a few days of play, the stuffing started to come out. Additionally, I found the design of the frog to be quite unappealing. The witch costume looked cheaply made and didn't fit properly on the frog. Overall, I didn't find this toy to be worth the price and wouldn't recommend it to others.

The toy arrived in a damaged package, and when I opened it, I found that the frog was already stained and dirty. It looked like it had been used before and returned. Moreover, the stuffing inside the toy felt lumpy and uneven, making it uncomfortable to cuddle with. I expected much better quality for the price I paid, and I will definitely be returning this item.
