Making the Most of Your Day at Six Flags Magic Mountain with a Fast Pass

By admin

The Six Flags Magic Mountain Fast Pass is a convenient option for visitors who want to maximize their time in the park by avoiding long lines. With the Fast Pass, guests can enjoy priority access to popular rides and attractions. By purchasing a Fast Pass, visitors can skip the regular lines and instead use designated Fast Pass entrances to access the rides. This allows them to experience more rides in a shorter period of time, which is especially beneficial on busy days when the queues can be quite long. The Fast Pass options vary in price and availability, depending on the time of year and the level of demand. There are typically a limited number of Fast Passes available for each day, so it is recommended to purchase them in advance or early in the day to ensure availability.

Unlike Disney's 'Fast Pass,' this one is *not* free. The press release doesn't list a price, but you have to pay to get a voucher that gives you four 'boarding opportunities.' What that means is one person can use the 'Fast Lane' bypass queue on four rides, or four people can use it for one ride, or any other equivalent combination.

it's $15 and only get's you a limted amount of rides.. so you kinda have to use it wisely, as of right now, this Fastpass has not been opened on X.

This info was relayed to me by a gentleman who post on here. a Mr Jason Herrera..

We saw them advertising this when we were there. What a ripoff! MM has so few fun rides as is, that it is disgusting that we will have to wait that much longer to get on them now. Plus, that list is so weird. No Batman? No Deja Vu? But Arrowhead and Colossus are on there? Weird. Well, hopefully they will spend the money on a whole bunch of flat rides, which they DESPERATELY need.

From a purely business perspective, this could work for Six Flags if it coupled Fast Lane with aggressive admission discounts.

The idea would be to undercut Disneyland and Knott's at the front gate. And if you're happy with the loooooong waits, so be it. But if you want to pay the extra cash, you get the shorter waits for about the same cost as Disney and Knott's.

Yeah, it reeks of a bait and switch. ('Cause many folks won't know what's up 'til they get to the park. They'll just come based on the cheap admission price.) But Six Flags should be able to work it for a summer or so. And, who knows, maybe this two-tier pricing model (cheap for long waits, more expensive without) might actually get some public support.

Lord, I hope not, though.

If Magic Mountain were to lower admission they'd get nailed big time! Patrons would buy the Fastlane, but still Disney would win over Magic Mountain. and this is why.

Disney would charge $43 and the fastpass is "free," In essence the fastpass is not really free, most people who visit Disneyland get a fastpast then head off to shop and eat. There you go. easily $20 on food, for the burger fries and soda for a couple of thrill seekers.

As we all know Disney mercahndise can cost an arm and a leg, and is more popular then any warner bros. merchandise. so in essence the patron who visits D-land may be paying $40 plus on their fastpass. even of they're not using the fastpass system.

Don't forget that most of MM's customers are probably Season Passholders, which means they will be going into the park after the first time having not spent a cent, in theory. So say a group of these walk in and notice the park is full. All they want to ride are the popular rides, so why not forget lunch and walk right on the rides?

Well, I had a Season Pass for Marine World last year and it was busy EVERY TIME, so we might have used this on our last visit. IF IT WASN'T SO FRICKIN' EXPENSIVE! I can do enough math to figure out that 4 bucks a ride (or so) is still WAY more expensive than lame carnival rides. They would probably do better if they sold them for time increments instead. Say 15 bucks to walk on ANY ride for 3 hours. That might be worth it.

While the Fast Pass does provide priority access to rides, it does not guarantee immediate or unlimited access. There may still be a short wait at the Fast Pass entrance, especially during peak times. Additionally, some attractions may have specific restrictions or requirements for using the Fast Pass, such as height or age restrictions. Overall, the Six Flags Magic Mountain Fast Pass offers a convenient and efficient way to enjoy the park and make the most of your visit. It allows guests to skip long lines and experience more rides, making it a popular choice for those looking to maximize their time and enjoyment at Six Flags Magic Mountain..

Reviews for "Beat the Crowds: How the Six Flags Magic Mountain Fast Pass Can Save You Time"

I was extremely disappointed with the Fast Pass at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Despite paying extra for this service, the lines were still incredibly long, and it felt like a waste of money. The Fast Pass ticket did not provide any real benefit, as we still had to wait over an hour for each ride. It seemed like there were just too many people using the Fast Pass, making it ineffective and overcrowded. Overall, I would not recommend purchasing the Fast Pass at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

I had high expectations for the Fast Pass at Six Flags Magic Mountain, but unfortunately, I left feeling let down. While it did provide a shorter wait time compared to the regular line, it was still far from a true "fast pass" experience. The lines for the Fast Pass were still longer than anticipated, especially for popular rides. Additionally, the staff did not seem to have a good system in place to manage the Fast Pass lines, causing confusion and frustration among guests. I expected more from such a popular amusement park and would recommend considering other options for skipping the lines.
3. Michelle - 2 stars
I found the Fast Pass at Six Flags Magic Mountain to be overpriced for the experience it provided. While it did allow for shorter wait times on some rides, I felt like the value for the money spent was not worth it. The availability of Fast Pass tickets also seemed limited, making it challenging to secure one. Furthermore, the Fast Pass lines were often disorganized, leading to longer wait times than expected. Overall, I was left feeling dissatisfied with the Fast Pass option at Six Flags Magic Mountain and would not recommend it.
