Discovering witchcraft was a huge turning point in my life. Suddenly I had access to tons of magical tools and spells to get to my goals faster. It was great! I tried every spell I could, following the instructions exactly as written, thinking finally I would get my dream car, dream job, dream relationship, dream… whatever!
This is how you go from being someone who s interested in witchcraft to being a witch with a blossoming practice and what s it seems like boundless motivation. Art journaling, while it doesn t have the same specificity as the written word, is another option for those who feel more comfortable in visual media.

Is There More To Witchcraft Than Just Spellcraft?
When we think of witchcraft, typically the first thing that comes to mind are spells. Spellwork and ritual make up a huge amount of the information that can be found about witchcraft. And for good reason! Most people who practice witchcraft do so because they want to change something about their lives. Spell work is by far the most direct method of changing your life through magic. That said, there’s a lot more to witchcraft than just spells.
Often, when I have students who are upset about the fact that they’re struggling to feel motivated in their craft, what I find out is that they’re actually just not casting spells all that frequently. They’re usually doing a ton of witchcraft but not very much spell work. This presents a bit of a problem. If we are not recognizing the things that we’re doing as witchcraft and therefore feeling bad about ourselves as witches, we’re not likely to get excited about doing more witchcraft! Today we’re going to take a look at witchcraft outside of spell work and the reasons why we might want to pay a little more attention to these practices.
This can involve learning new skills, acquiring knowledge, and expanding our horizons. By continuously striving to become better versions of ourselves, we can unlock our full potential and achieve great things. Additionally, setting our goals higher means working towards making a positive impact on society. This can be done through volunteering, advocating for important causes, or pursuing a career that helps others. By dedicating our time and efforts to making the world a better place, we can leave a lasting legacy that is far more meaningful than any practice of witchcraft.
