Strawberry Guy Announces 'F Song & Mrs Magic (Strings Versions)' EP, out 4th October Digitally & 10th November Physically

Pre order
Stepping out of the bedroom & into the Real World, Liverpool’s Strawberry Guy prepares for a string of special shows across the UK & the US by sharing reimagined strings versions of two fan favourites, Mrs Magic & F Song.

Heading down to Peter Gabriel’s idyllic Real World Studios with Manchester’s Northern Session Collective in tow, Stephens set about trying to soften and expose the bare bones of the original tracks. Stripped of drums & synths, the music is pared down to piano & the new strings arrangement, bringing the careful melodies & indrawn lyrics to the fore.

Having recorded the original tracks in his Liverpool bedroom, swapping the originals’ string samples for their real counterparts lends the tracks an even more ethereal quality than the self-produced originals. The trip to Real World marks a first foray into studio recording for Strawberry Guy, and a new high-fidelity direction for the project, as he begins the process of making his sophomore album.

“Mrs. Magic” by Strawberry Guy

Strawberry Guy bears fruit with the new dream-pop single "Mrs. Magic".

From releasing Soundcloud singles to becoming a streaming superstar, Strawberry Guy’s (Alex Stephens) music career has been as deliciously unique as his name.

Moving to Liverpool to study music, Strawberry began writing and realising his own tracks a year ago while playing with The Orielles. He was encouraged by the artistic vibe of the city and, surrounded by other musicians, Alex felt compelled to find his own voice.

Driven by his love for music, he released his first single “Without You” to Soundcloud without much thought. The response he received was astronomical, leading to an avid fan-base with now almost 2 million Youtube streams. For Alex, following his heart put him exactly in the right place, creating moving dream-pop that spoke to young people, building a group of passionate pop ‘berries’ around the world.

“Taking my Time to Be” is Alex’s debut mini-album which is an exciting maturation on his sound from his original demo. Rich in hook-driven melodies, bubbling synths and passionate songwriting, the new tracks reveal Strawberry as a pop star in the making.

The track, “Mrs. Magic” captures the essence of the new album, atmospheric and hopeful, combining pop hooks with orchestral instruments to convey the uncertainty of new starts. Long story short, we’re fully on the berry-wagon.

To quench your appetite until the album drops on the 27th of Septemeber, have a listen to the single, “Mrs. Magic” and preorder here!

Strawberry Guy

Stepping out of the bedroom and into the Real World, Liverpool’s Strawberry Guy headed down to Peter Gabriel’s idyllic Real World Studios with Manchester’s Northern Session Collective in tow and set about trying to soften and expose the bare bones of his two biggest streaming tracks 'F Song' and 'Mrs Magic'.

Stripped of drums & synths, the music is pared down to piano and romantic new strings arrangements, bringing the careful melodies & indrawn lyrics to the fore.

Having recorded the original tracks in his Liverpool bedroom, swapping the originals’ string samples for their real-life counterparts lends the tracks an even more ethereal quality than the self-produced originals. The trip to Real World marks a first foray into studio recording for Strawberry Guy, and a new high-fidelity direction for the project, as he begins the process of making his sophomore album.

The vinyl edition of these new songs is out November 10, and features the two new strings versions along with the originals of both tracks, meaning fans can finally get their hands on a physical version of early single “F Song.”
While the music of Strawberry Guy favours a hermetic, headphones-forward sound lying somewhere between Bryter Layter-era Nick Drake, The Clientele, Slowdive’s Pygmalion, and the psychedelic 70s output of fellow Liverpudlian Paul McCartney, it’s nonetheless become a smash on TikTok and streaming services with a fanatical young and diverse fan base.

I was really disappointed with "Rpg wikidot magical artifacts". The information provided was sparse and the descriptions lacked depth. It felt like the creator just copied and pasted information from other sources without adding any original content or analysis. Additionally, the organization of the artifacts was confusing, making it difficult to navigate and find specific items. Overall, I don't think this site offers anything valuable or unique compared to other resources available for RPG magical artifacts.
2. John - ★☆☆☆☆
I found "Rpg wikidot magical artifacts" to be extremely outdated and unreliable. Many of the descriptions and stats for the artifacts were incorrect or conflicting with established lore. It seems like the creator did not take the time to research properly or verify the information presented. The lack of quality control is evident throughout the site, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone serious about RPG gaming. It's a shame that such an important aspect of the game, like magical artifacts, is poorly represented here.

I had high hopes for "Rpg wikidot magical artifacts", but unfortunately, it fell short. The content provided was too basic and lacked the in-depth descriptions and analysis I was expecting. It felt more like a generic list of magical artifacts without any unique or interesting details. The site could have benefited from including more background stories, historical context, or even user-generated content to make it more engaging and useful for RPG players. Overall, I was underwhelmed by the lack of depth and creativity in the resources offered by this website.
