Rime magic, also known as frost magic or ice magic, is a form of mystical ability that involves the manipulation and control of ice and cold temperatures. Sharon Zinke is a consultant in literacy development and reading intervention. She has worked extensively with struggling readers at elementary, middle, and high schools in her years as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, resource specialist, and literacy consultant. Most recently, she has worked with elementary and middle schools to quickly raise the decoding and word recognition levels of students reading signi cantly below grade level.

Sharon has inspired thousands of teachers through her reading courses at UC Berkeley Extension, professional development in schools throughout California, and her many years as a featured speaker at reading conferences around the country. Her courses with the Bureau of Education & Research (BER) bring her to cities around the country to share her unique and effective strategies for working with struggling readers. 1. Samantha - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Rime magic scholastic". The story felt very predictable, with cliched characters and a lackluster plot. The magic system was underdeveloped and didn't make sense to me. The writing style was also very flat and did not engage me as a reader. Overall, I found the book to be a letdown and wouldn't recommend it.
