They give me a rough idea, usually along the lines of they posted a lot on weeks 1 and 2 and then by week 3 it was once a week, which fell to posting now and then. Comment on posts that interest you, this gets your business name out there and by reaching out to others they will hopefully respond, and you can build upon that connection.

Is the saying “There is no ‘i’ in team” a good philosophy for running a business? Got speaking to someone yesterday who got me thinking back to when I worked in the office as part of a team in London. It reminded me that one of the reasons I didn’t feel valued was because my ideas, knowledge and aspirations were constantly overlooked because there was always someone willing to shout louder in the team than I was. The thing is teams are made up of individuals and those people have their own thoughts and ideas and sometimes these can get overlooked in a team. So, if you manage a team of people, remember they are individuals too. Let them share their thoughts, ideas, knowledge and aspirations. Reward individuals and not just the team, but above all listen to them. By doing this you will find you have more motivated individuals who will therefore work better as a team. I used to work in the city and I totally hear what you're saying Emma Gordon. It was often the people who shouted the loudest that got heard and those who didn't ended up being sidelined and not given the opportunity to voice their opinions and ideas. It seems really archaic now thinking back to that but it was only a few years ago. I hope businesses are becoming more inclusive and focused on creating different opportunities for people who thrive in less shouty and quieter spaces to collaborate and contribute.

Despite her wickedness, the Queen is not without a certain allure.
