Since the audience and General Kai can see this Chinese character in the right way, that means Oogway wrote this Chinese character in the opposite way like in a mirror , which is awkward. Shifu does a real dramatic entrance, and then breaks the news that this will be his last day teaching, and that from now on, Po will be their teacher.

On Kai’s chain belt with the chi amulets of masters that had died are a number of masters that he did not use: among them can be seen an elephant amulet, a frog amulet, a hippo amulet, and an amulet of Tai Lung himself, indicating that Tai Lung was banished to the Spirit Realm when Po used the Wuxi Finger Hold on him in the first Kung Fu Panda (2008) film.

Kai is the first Kung Fu Panda villain to not have a British accent.

One third of the film was made in China, and the rest was made in the United States, at DWA.

Kai’s name was initially going to be Tian Sha, which means “ferocious (spirit) from heaven”, and the characters separately mean “heaven” and “evil spirit” respectively. In the Chinese dub of the film, his name remains Tian Sha.

The jombies were animated to skip some frames throughout their movements to be in direct contrast to the living masters, who are more fluid in movements.

Jamie Campbell Bower was cast to voice Po’s biological father but was replaced by actor Bryan Cranston. Neither of these Actors voiced Po’s Father at the End of Kung Fu Panda 2(2011), instead being voiced by Experienced Voice Actor Fred Tatasciore (who also voiced Shifu in the Kung Fu Panda Video Games and the Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (2011) TV Series).

This has been the longest wait for a sequel to a previous Dreamworks computer-animated film to date, being released 5 years after Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011).

The staff which was given to Po by Master Oogway near the end of movie completely denies the law of physics. The little dot on symbol of Yin-Yang stands without any support, but considering that it came from the Spirit Realm, the staff must have certain properties that overpower the laws of physics.

When Oogway fights with General Kai face to face in the Spirit World, he wrote the Chinese character Chi (Pinyin is Qi4) and pushed it to attack Kai. Since the audience (and General Kai) can see this Chinese character in the right way, that means Oogway wrote this Chinese character in the opposite way (like in a mirror), which is awkward.

Through the three films each villain represents a different challenge: Tai Lung is force, Lord Shen is mental and Kai is spiritual.

Reviews for "Harnessing the Strength and Energy of Panda Kung Fu Power Amulets"

1. Tom - 2 stars:
I was really disappointed with "Panda kung fu power amulets". The story was weak and predictable, and the characters were one-dimensional. The animation was also below par, with jerky movements and lackluster visuals. Overall, I felt like I wasted my time watching this film. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for an engaging and well-made animated movie.
2. Amy - 1 star:
I found "Panda kung fu power amulets" to be extremely boring. The plot was unoriginal, and it felt like I had seen the same story a hundred times before. The humor also fell flat, with jokes that were not funny and forced. The animation was decent, but it was not enough to save the movie. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on this uninspiring film.
3. Chris - 2 stars:
"Panda kung fu power amulets" had potential but failed to deliver. The concept of pandas with kung fu power amulets sounded exciting, but the execution was lacking. The pacing was off, with slow and tedious scenes that made me lose interest. The character development was also weak, as it was difficult to connect with any of them. I wouldn't say it was terrible, but it definitely fell short of my expectations.
