Understanding the Mechanics of Occult Practices and Mental Frequencies

By admin

Occult practices have long been associated with the manipulation of mental frequencies, a concept that revolves around the frequencies or vibrations emitted by the mind. The belief is based on the understanding that everything in the universe, including thoughts and emotions, exist as energy vibrating at different frequencies. By manipulating these frequencies, occult practitioners aim to influence and shape reality. The idea of mental frequencies stems from the belief that the mind is not only a generator of thoughts but also an emitter of energy. Different states of consciousness, emotions, and thoughts are believed to produce distinct frequencies that can be measured and altered. This concept aligns with the principles of quantum physics, which suggest that energy and matter can exist in multiple states simultaneously.

Interpersonal synchrony, one of the features involved in chanting, may also mediate the effect of chanting on mystical states. Chanting in a group promotes social connection and cooperation through synchronized rhythmic vocalization and movements. These coordinated temporal predictions have been found to increase social connection and promote oscillatory entrainment, in which brain rhythms and external rhythms synchronize [37,38,39,40,41]. Further, rhythmic coordination with others requires divided attention, which is cognitively demanding. Participants must integrate perceptual feedback from multiple sources simultaneously, attending both to their own vocalizations and movements and to those of others [41]. In the context of chanting, not only is an individual synchronizing to the chanting but is also interacting to the motor responses of others via facial expression, hand gestures, clapping, dancing, or swaying. Perception–action coupling promotes social interaction by combining a cognitively demanding task with high sensory engagement. This rhythmic social interaction often promotes the sense of merging with others and the music, which is a common experience of altered states of consciousness [17,42]

Chanting can be performed silently or vocally, and individually or in a group, but most chanting practices involve the use of a predictable, repetitive rhythm, focused attention and, if practiced in groups, synchrony 36. Therefore, as well as chanting sounds, individuals may also have intentions during the chanting practice to act compassionately and kindly to others, or to focus attention on the oneness of the universe , reinforcing community and connection to others.

Occult practices manipulate mental frequencies

This concept aligns with the principles of quantum physics, which suggest that energy and matter can exist in multiple states simultaneously. Occult practices that involve the manipulation of mental frequencies often utilize various techniques to induce altered states of consciousness. These techniques can include meditation, visualization, chanting, and ritualistic ceremonies.

WHAT THE OCCULT REVEALS

Where does occultism fit on the map of modernity? Frank Miller Turner proposed an intriguing answer in his 1974 study Between Science and Religion: The Reaction to Scientific Naturalism in Late Victorian England . The book examined the lives and struggles of six Victorian men: the philosophers Henry Sidgwick and James Ward, the scientists Alfred Russel Wallace and George John Romanes, and the writers Frederic W. H. Myers and Samuel Butler. Of the six, three cultivated a serious and sustained interest in the occult. Sidgwick and Myers engaged in psychical research, while Wallace immersed himself in phrenology and spiritualism. Raised as Christians, all of them came to find Christian belief inadequate. Yet the scientific naturalism that might have provided an alternative pole for their allegiance, that was the alternative pole of allegiance for much of their generation, failed to entice them. All had ethical qualms about its refusal to comment on God's existence or on life after death. All, too, wondered about the soul and bemoaned the reluctance of scientists to investigate the immaterial and subjective aspects of human nature. Caught between the Christianity of their upbringing and the scientific naturalism of their adulthood, Turner argued, these men “came to dwell between the science that beckoned them and the religion they had forsaken.”

Occult practices manipulate mental frequencies

By accessing altered states of consciousness, practitioners believe they can harness and align themselves with different frequencies of energy, allowing them to influence their own minds and the world around them. One key aspect of manipulating mental frequencies is the power of intention and focus. Occult practitioners often emphasize the importance of directing one's thoughts and intentions towards specific goals or desires. This focus is believed to amplify the mental frequencies associated with these intentions, making them more likely to manifest in reality. Additionally, some occult practices use symbols, sigils, and rituals as tools to attune their minds to specific frequencies. These symbols and rituals are believed to act as gateways to different energies or dimensions, enabling practitioners to tap into and manipulate corresponding mental frequencies. This concept is often associated with the practice of magick, where practitioners use intention, focus, and rituals to manifest their desires. It is important to note that the manipulation of mental frequencies through occult practices is a subject of debate and skepticism. Skeptics argue that the concept lacks scientific evidence and falls under pseudoscience. However, for many occult practitioners and believers, the manipulation of mental frequencies is a fundamental aspect of their spiritual and metaphysical practices. In conclusion, occult practices often involve the manipulation of mental frequencies, which are believed to be the vibrational energies emitted by the mind. By accessing altered states of consciousness and utilizing various techniques, practitioners aim to influence and shape reality according to their intentions and desires. While this concept may not be universally accepted, it remains a fundamental aspect of many occult and metaphysical traditions..

Reviews for "A Closer Look at Occult Practices: Manipulating and Channeling Mental Frequencies"

1. Jennifer - 2/5 stars: I found "Occult practices manipulate mental frequencies" to be overly sensationalized and lacking in scientific evidence. While I understand that the subject matter is controversial, I was hoping for a more balanced and objective approach. The author seemed more focused on promoting their own beliefs rather than providing a comprehensive examination of occult practices. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of critical analysis and would not recommend this book.
2. Mark - 1/5 stars: As someone who approaches things from a skeptical standpoint, "Occult practices manipulate mental frequencies" was a complete letdown. The author seemed to keep circling around the same ideas without providing any concrete evidence or logical reasoning behind their claims. It felt like a wild conspiracy theory rather than a well-researched study. I was hoping for a nuanced exploration, but instead, I found myself constantly rolling my eyes at the outlandish claims. Save your time and skip this one.
3. Sarah - 2/5 stars: I entered into reading "Occult practices manipulate mental frequencies" with an open mind, hoping to expand my knowledge on the topic. Unfortunately, I found the book to be confusing and lacking in clarity. The author often jumped from one idea to another without fully explaining or connecting the dots. It felt disjointed and left me with more questions than answers. While there were some interesting points, they were overshadowed by the overall lack of coherence. Disappointing read.
