Channeling the energies of the Nordic rune for a nurturing family space

By admin

The Nordic rune for home is known as "Othala" or "Odal". It is the 24th and final rune in the Elder Futhark, the oldest runic alphabet used by the Norse and Germanic peoples. Othala represents the concept of ancestral land, heritage, and inheritance. The Othala rune is shaped like a square or a diamond with two legs protruding from the bottom. It is often inscribed on stones or carved into wood to symbolize a connection to one's homeland or family estate. In ancient times, the rune was believed to bring protection and blessings to the home and its inhabitants.

So it very much seems like monsters that previously had the Magic Weapons trait are being switched to doing force damage instead of bludgeoning/piercing/slashing damage. What are your thoughts on this?

Now, the ONLY damage type in 5E, that doesn t have to worry about getting blocked resisted, most of the time out side of DM fiat rare things, is Force Damage. So Gorg just smiles with a bloody lip, proceeds to spit the blood back in his demonic opponents face, and only suffers half damage because Barbarians, when Raging, have Resistance to Slashing Piercing Bludgeoning damage.

The monster and the magical blade

In ancient times, the rune was believed to bring protection and blessings to the home and its inhabitants. The rune's name, Othala, is derived from the Old Norse word for "ancestral property" or "estate". It represents the idea of a strong bond between a family and their land, signifying a sense of belonging and continuity.

The monster and the magical blade

I've tried mana potion, berserk, and electric, and he walked off. Considering literally all of it is magic, maybe such vague requests (With only one solution) is not the best approach.

The jackass wants ice or fire. For some reason those are the only two they consider "imbuing" their blades.

Except for the guy who wants something to rub on his "sword" IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. For some reason he always gets mad when I give him acid, poison, or necromancy potions.

Turns out he wanted a potion of libido, but I really think he should have tried my recommendations.

Yes, fire worked. Had to save-scum it to figure out because silly me thinking Mana (literal magic) Poison (what a witcher would actually use) and lightning (because why not) were all acceptable.

Blade with magical power refers to ice, fire, or the one which pays the best: Lightning. Give the dude lightning, with end game trading, you can get near 150 for that potion. This customer tends to come very frequently, so it might even be a good idea to give him lightning 3, fire 2 or something like that.

DONT give him acid. The blade will become useless if he puts acid on it, it's common sense.

You probably should sell him a potion of safe sex. There are far too many bastard swords in the world as it is.

OP specifically said that the customer rejected a lightning potion, though. 14 дек. 2021 в 5:08 Автор сообщения: BDTA

The jackass just wants fire, he didn't want any ice. 17 дек. 2021 в 11:45

The request isn't actually that vague. You messed up, misunderstanding what the customer wanted. If you don't understand what it means to imbue a blade with magic, you aren't supposed to get it right yet lol. You'll learn. There aren't many potion effects, it's not hard to figure out, but you WILL get it wrong from time to time.

While it may not be obvious to you, many people find it obvious because many people play other games, like fantasy RPG's and the like. Most fantasy gamers instinctively know "Mana potions" and "berserk" potions have a positive effect on the user. Therefore, they would be AWFUL effects to add to your blade, and wouldn't make any sense in this context. A "berserk-imbued sword," for instance, would make the opponent you're fighting MORE DIFFICULT to kill. The mana potion would recharge your foe's magical abilities.

Understanding the effects of the potions helps in this area, and there's a wiki that can help you if you have difficulty knowing which is which. It IS obvious when you understand the purpose of the potions, but it's a game about trial and error. You're supposed to mess up and move on sometimes.

OP specifically said that the customer rejected a lightning potion, though. OP clearly misspoke (He said "electric" potion) because he was mistaken on the type of potion. That customer WILL accept a lightning potion. I give them that potion exclusively for the profit.

Yes. Acid on a sword = damaged sword. This is common sense.

If you're making a joke, that's pretty funny. If you're serious, no ♥♥♥♥. When was the last time you became horny after eating a handful of fertilizer lol? That's the type of growth the game's talking about.

Reviews for "Enhancing the feng shui of your home with the Nordic rune for balance"

1. John - 2/5
I purchased the "Nordic rune for home" thinking it would add a unique touch to my living space, but I was quite disappointed. The quality of the product was subpar, with the paint chipping off after just a few weeks. Additionally, the design itself was not well-executed, with the details looking sloppy and uneven. I expected better craftsmanship and durability for the price I paid.
2. Sarah - 1/5
I regret purchasing the "Nordic rune for home" as it turned out to be nothing more than a cheap piece of plastic. The pictures online made it seem like a high-quality and authentic item, but in reality, it was flimsy and poorly made. The rune symbol was barely visible and lacked the intricate details that were advertised. Save your money and find a better quality product elsewhere.
3. David - 2/5
I had high hopes for the "Nordic rune for home" but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The size of the rune was much smaller than I anticipated, making it barely noticeable in my home decor. Additionally, the material used felt cheap and easily prone to scratches. It didn't have the impact or presence I was looking for and overall, I was quite disappointed with my purchase.

I found the "Nordic rune for home" to be a complete waste of money. The supposed rune symbol was poorly etched onto the surface, making it difficult to discern the intended design. The overall quality was lacking, with visible flaws and imperfections. I would not recommend this product to anyone seeking an authentic and well-crafted Nordic rune for their home.
