The Evolution of Missile Bait's Nagic Worm: From Idea to Success

By admin

The missile baited magic worm is a popular fishing lure that has gained attention among anglers. This unique bait is designed to mimic the movement of a live worm, making it enticing for fish. Made from a soft, flexible material, the magic worm is rigged on a hook and can be cast out just like any traditional bait. What sets the missile baited magic worm apart is the addition of a weight on its head, resembling a missile. This weight helps the bait sink quickly to the desired depth, increasing the chances of attracting fish. As the magic worm falls through the water column, the weighted head imparts an erratic action, mimicking the motion of a distressed or injured worm.

Comments: Awesome collaboration between missile Baits and roboworm!! I have put these worms to work already. American made and hold up so well to multiple fish.. Green pumpkin money and junebug dream are great colors. Biggest so far was 6.13 pounds, caught that fish neko rigging the magic worm near a deeper dock. Love these worms!!

Continuing their Made in the USA tradition, Missile Baits is having Roboworm manufacture their new, all-purpose, finesse, hand poured soft plastic bait called the Magic Worm. Based in Salem, Virginia, MISSILE BAITS works relentlessly to make the best baits, show their customers how to use them, and stay on the cutting edge of bass fishing.

As the magic worm falls through the water column, the weighted head imparts an erratic action, mimicking the motion of a distressed or injured worm. This erratic movement is what will often trigger a strike from predatory fish species. Anglers who have used the missile baited magic worm have reported great success, particularly when targeting species such as bass, trout, and walleye.

Missile Baits Making Mini Magic Worm

Salem, Va. – March 22, 2023 –Missile Baits is adding to their collaboration with Roboworm to make the new 4” Mini Magic Worm. The 6” Magic Worm was introduced in 2022 and already played a part in two BASS Elite Series wins. Missile Baits is adding another fish catching size option. The 4” Mini Magic Worm has the same body proportions that make both sizes effective and easy to rig in most of the popular finesse techniques including drop shot, finesse Neko rig, Texas rig, shaky head, and wacky rig.

“After all the bass I caught on the 6” Magic Worm last year, it was obvious that the worm is a winner. The Mini Magic is the natural progression for us to add. The Mini Magic is nasty on a drop shot when you need a smaller profile, but the big deal is that it is perfect on a drop shot wacky style. I promise you that I will be serving that combo when we go up north this summer,” says John Crews, BASS pro angler and Missile Baits owner.

The Mini Magic Worm will come in the same 12 totally unique colors as the 6” Magic Worm that only Roboworm can pour. Some of the top colors include Green Pumpkin Money, Junebug Dream, Missile Morning, and John’s Juice. Each bag will be loaded with 16 worms (2 more worms per bag than the 6”) for a suggested retail price of $10.99. First production run is here now.

The realistic movement of the bait combined with the added weight allows for precise control and presentation of the lure. This can make a significant difference when trying to entice stubborn or wary fish. One of the advantages of using the missile baited magic worm is its versatility. It can be used in various fishing techniques, including casting and retrieving, jigging, or even drop-shotting. The soft material of the worm also allows for easy customization, allowing anglers to trim or manipulate the bait to suit their specific fishing conditions or target species. It is important to note that while the missile baited magic worm is effective, it is not a guarantee for catching fish. Successful fishing still requires understanding fish behavior, locating the right fishing spots, and using appropriate techniques. However, incorporating this bait into your fishing arsenal can increase your chances of a successful outing. Overall, the missile baited magic worm is a unique and effective fishing lure that has become popular among anglers. Its lifelike movement, versatility, and added weight make it a valuable tool in the pursuit of various fish species. Whether you are a novice or experienced angler, adding this bait to your tackle box can be a worthwhile investment..

I was really disappointed with the Missile Baited Magic Worm. At first glance, it appeared to be a promising lure for fishing, but it didn't live up to its hype. The worm's action in the water was underwhelming, and it failed to attract any bites from the fish. Additionally, the durability of the worm was questionable as it tore easily after just a few casts. Overall, I don't recommend this product as it simply didn't deliver the results I was expecting.

I purchased the Missile Baited Magic Worm based on the positive reviews, but I ended up regretting my decision. The worm's design and color were attractive, but that's where the positives end. It lacked the desired flexibility and movement in the water, which made it less effective in catching fish. I was also disappointed with the overall quality of the worm, as it started to fall apart after a couple of fishing trips. I won't be buying this product again and would advise others to explore different options for a more successful fishing experience.

The Missile Baited Magic Worm was a complete waste of money for me. Despite its claims of being a game-changer in the fishing industry, it failed to deliver any noticeable results. The worm's action in the water was ineffective, and I struggled to attract any bites, let alone catch a fish. On top of that, the worm's durability was abysmal, as it tore easily and became useless after just a few casts. I regret purchasing this product and would not recommend it to any serious anglers.
