About the Author
MARY POPE OSBORNE is the author of the New York Times number one bestselling Magic Tree House series. She and her husband, writer Will Osborne (author of Magic Tree House: The Musical), live in northwestern Connecticut with their three dogs. Ms. Osborne is also the coauthor of the companion Magic Tree House Fact Trackers series with Will, and with her sister, Natalie Pope Boyce.
SAL MURDOCCA has illustrated more than 200 children's trade and text books. 1. Sarah - 2/5 - I was really disappointed with "Mire witch garb". The story felt disjointed and hard to follow, and I never really connected with any of the characters. The world-building was also lacking, leaving me feeling confused and uninterested in the overall outcome. I had high hopes for this book, but it just fell flat for me.
2. John - 1/5 - I couldn't even finish "Mire witch garb". The writing style was incredibly boring and the plot was just too slow-moving for my taste. I found myself constantly checking how many pages were left, hoping it would be over soon. The characters were shallow and unengaging, and I honestly couldn't care less about what happened to them. Definitely not my cup of tea.
3. Emily - 2/5 - "Mire witch garb" had so much potential, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The pacing was off and the story dragged on without much action. The main character was supposed to be this powerful witch, but her development felt lacking and I didn't find her very relatable.
