I was really disappointed with the Midnight Magic Crepe Myrtle. I bought it because of its supposedly vibrant purple flowers, but they turned out to be more of a dull lavender color. The tree also didn't grow as tall as I had hoped, and the branches seemed weak and prone to breaking. Overall, it was not the showstopper that I was expecting.

I regret purchasing the Midnight Magic Crepe Myrtle. The tree never thrived in my garden despite my best efforts to care for it. The leaves developed a lot of browning and spots, and the flowers were lackluster. It looked nothing like the pictures I saw online. I ended up removing it from my garden and replacing it with a different tree that has been much more successful.

It's a shame because I had heard great things about this variety, but it just didn't work out for me.

I would not recommend this particular crepe myrtle variety.
