Pink Succulents

Pink Succulents are utterly charming. They bring a pop of color to arrangements and window sills alike. Sweet, pastel pink tones tend to be found in types like Echeveria, Graptopetalum, Sempervivum, and tender hybrids. They're usually adapted to full sun conditions, so give your pink plants as much light as possible to bring out their most vibrant hues.

In arrangements, pink succulents make quite an impact when grouped together. You can also achieve eye-catching contrast by pairing them with complementary colors such as Blue Succulents .

In addition to bright light, infrequent watering can "beautifully stress" a succulent and bring out a rosy pink blush. Succulents are adapted to long droughts and like to be watered in a cycle of soaking and drying periods. Only water when the soil is completely dry and the leaves start to feel limp. Then, deeply drench the plant and do not water again until the soil is completely dry.

Some succulents get a soft, pastel look from a natural wax that coats their leaves. This powdery coating is called "farina". It protects the foliage in direct sun and gives an elegant, matte finish to the plants. Avoid touching or watering the leaves of these powdery types if possible. Farina rubs off easily and once removed it will not grow back on old leaves.

Succulents of all colors thrive in well-draining pots and soil. Use a gritty soil mix with a high proportion of coarse sand, perlite, pumice, or other mineral grit. A lean soil like Bonsai Jack's Gritty Mix helps a succulent develop strong roots and prevents rot. Pair it with a container with a drainage hole to help your succulent thrive and show its best coloration.

Aeonium Pink Witch

Most plants are shown in 2 Inch pots (square), 4 Inch pots (round or square), 6 Inch pots (round), and 8 Inch pots (round). The Size option, such as 2 Inch, 4 Inch, etc., typically represents the size of the pot that the plant is shown in. In most cases, it does not represent the width, length, or height of the plant, with some exceptions: - Monkey Tail Cactus: The size represents the length of the cactus - Some columnar cactus / cacti plants - Certain plants that are shown without a pot

Letter Suffix in Size

When a letter is added to the size value (Example: 2 Inch #A or 4 Inch #B), it represents different variants of the same size. The meaning could vary depending on the type of plant. The corresponding listing photos of each size variant provide the best representation of the plants that you'll receive. The letter suffix could represent one or more of the following: - Differences in plant maturity and/or fullness - Differences in plant size and/or shape - Differences in style and/or color - Differences in amount of variegation - Unrooted cuttings vs. rooted plants

Packaging & Handling

Vast majority of our plants shown in 4 Inch or larger pots are shipped bare roots (See below fore more details). Most plants shown in 2 Inch pots are shipped in their original plastic pots with soil because they are small and are less subject to damaging during transit. We carefully wrap each plant with wrapping paper and place them securely inside the box. Then, we fill the remaining space in the box with newsprint paper, air pillows, or crinkle paper to ensure the plants don't move around during shipping, and hence minimize shipping shock.

Shipping with Pots

  • Most plants shown in 2 Inch pot (exclusion applies, some 2 Inch plants are shipped bare root to provide better protection)
  • String of Pearls in 2 Inch and 4 Inch pot

Shipping Bare Roots

Shipping bare roots and soft paper wrapping provide the following benefits:

  • Prevent broken parts, fracture, scuffing, and fallen nodes/leaves
  • Minimize residual moisture within the package
  • Prevent soil getting into the leaves and causing a big mess
  • Reduce shipping weight and the cost that our customers pay

Shipping:
Please allow us up to 3 business days to prepare your order. All plants will be sent bare rooted and packaged with great care. Soil is not included to prevent any damage or rotten issues. If your local temperature is below 50°F, please add a heat pack to your order to ensure the safe delivery of your plants. If you have any special instructions or need the package to leave our nursery at any specific date, please add a note in your order during check-out.

Tips:
Once you receive your purchase, we recommend planting the succulents in soil immediately. Due to shipping, the plants may appear dry, soft, or lighter/darker in color compared to the photos in the online pictures.

Soil:
For optimal growth, use porous, well-draining soil with a 1:1 ratio of amendment (like pumice or perlite) to cactus/succulent soil. This provides proper drainage and prevents root rot. Monitor soil moisture and adjust watering accordingly, as succulents require minimal watering and dislike sitting in wet soil.

Sunlight:
Introduce sunlight to your new plants gradually. Do not put your succulents in direct sunlight, but instead try to increase the sun exposure gradually in your home or outside. Leaving your new plants in direct sun will lead to sunburns. We normally suggest our customers have 40% shade fabric in the area that has intense sunlight.

Watering:
To keep your succulent healthy, water it only when the soil is dry, and avoid letting it sit on wet soil overnight to prevent root rot.

Cactus upon Arrivals:
Upon receiving your cactus, it's essential to handle it with care to avoid damaging the plant. It's recommended to wait at least one week after receiving your cactus before watering to allow it to acclimate to its new environment. Once ready, water your cactus sparingly, being careful not to overwater as this can cause root rot. During the dormant season, typically in the winter, it's important to avoid watering your cactus altogether. By following these simple steps, you can help your cactus thrive and enjoy its unique beauty for years to come.

Reviews for "Master the slopes of Matic this spring with the season pass."

1. Sarah - 1 star - I was really disappointed with the Matic spring season pass. First of all, the quality of the events was subpar. The music was way too loud and distorted, making it impossible to enjoy. Secondly, the food options were extremely limited and overpriced. I felt like I was being ripped off at every turn. Lastly, the organization of the events was chaotic. There were long queues everywhere and I ended up missing out on a lot of the attractions. Overall, I would not recommend the Matic spring season pass to anyone.
2. John - 2 stars - The Matic spring season pass was a letdown for me. The main issue was the lack of variety in the events. It seemed like they were all the same, with no unique experiences or standout performances. The lineup of artists was also not very impressive. I was hoping for some big names, but it was mostly lesser-known acts. Additionally, the venues were overcrowded and it was difficult to navigate through the crowds. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth with this pass.
3. Emily - 3 stars - While the Matic spring season pass had its moments, overall, it was not worth the price. The biggest drawback for me was the lack of organization. The schedule was constantly changing, and it was hard to keep track of what was happening when. The communication from the event organizers was also poor. I had to rely on word of mouth and guesswork to figure out when and where things were happening. The events themselves were okay, but not outstanding. I expected more from a season pass, and unfortunately, I didn't feel like I got my money's worth.
4. Michael - 2 stars - I was really excited for the Matic spring season pass, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The main issue was the overcrowding. The venues were packed to the brim, making it uncomfortable to enjoy the performances. The lines for food and drinks were ridiculously long, and the prices were exorbitant. The whole experience felt like a money-grab, with little regard for the enjoyment of the attendees. I would not recommend this season pass to anyone looking for a quality event experience.
