Beef brisket reminds me of family gatherings back home. We had a big family gathering with all the cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and anyone else we considered family. As soon as everyone arrived the pans of shredded brisket or as we called it, carne deshebrada, came out of nowhere. After that came the huge bowls of potato salad, […]

Cinco de Mayo has become an American holiday synonymous with mariachis, margaritas, Corona beer, and Americanized Mexican food like jalapeño-studded nachos and cheese-smothered burritos. The main thing you need to know about 2 Gringos Chupacabra products is we re so good because we only use the finest ingredients and never, ever take short cuts when it comes to quality.

I am actually offended by that brand name. And lets face facts, its a fictitious creature. I wouldn't know what it taste like, why would i want to chance that it works well for brisket.

If I'm not mistaken, the chupacabra brisket magic is formulated for brisket specifically from the chupacabra, not beef brisket. It's a bit smaller, slightly gamey, and hard to obtain, but well worth it.

Use Fiesta seasonings a lot, just not that one. I've seen the rest, but not used them. I have friends that love them though.

Now that’s a compliment … and the badge of honor stuck. It’s how we became known as 2 Gringos Chupacabra Rub, Chupacabra Cajun Blend, Chupacabra Salsa, Chupacabra Chips, Chupacabra Sausage and Chupacabra Marinade (or Marigate as they say in Louisiana). That’s “Chupy,” our Chupacabra mascot there on the label.

Review: I have to say, I am not a fan of the maroon and gold colors and mascot of this team. They are so outdated and uninspiring. The maroon just looks dull and the gold is far too bright. As for the mascot, it is just plain cheesy. I expected something more fierce and intimidating, but this mascot looks like it belongs in a children's cartoon. Overall, I am very disappointed with the choice of colors and mascot for this team.

Review: The maroon and gold colors and mascot of this team just don't do it for me. The maroon is too dark and makes it hard to see the details of the uniforms and logos. The gold is also too yellow and clashes with the maroon. As for the mascot, it's just not memorable. It doesn't have any unique characteristics or qualities that make it stand out. I think the team should reconsider their choice of colors and create a mascot that is more visually appealing and representative of their team spirit.

Review: I have always been a fan of bright and vibrant colors, so the maroon and gold just don't appeal to me. The maroon is too dull and lacks energy, while the gold is too flashy and overwhelming. It's as if the team couldn't decide between a bold color and a more subdued one, so they settled for this mediocre combination. The mascot also falls flat for me. It lacks creativity and fails to evoke any sense of excitement or pride. Overall, I believe the team could benefit from a revamp of their colors and mascot to better reflect their team identity.
