Personal Response: Reading Night of the New Magicians by Mary Pope Osborne was interesting. I used to read these books all of the time when I was little, and I thought they were very adventurous. It would be weird to go some of the places the characters go in the books.
Then, they saw the exhibit for Thomas Alva Edison, where he had the light bulb, Jake and Annie found out who the second magician is, it is Thomas Alva Edison, he is the magic of light. Through this circumstance, the author set an alarming tone that gave me the intense feeling in the air as the modern folk continued to be suspicious of them.
They take in the breathtaking views of the city from the top of the tower and even spot famous landmarks such as the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum. However, their adventure takes an unexpected turn when they encounter a ghost named Claude. Claude leads them on a quest to help him find his missing great-uncle.
