You experience with LotR Starter Kits? To me they are not balanced at all.

I wanted to ask you about your experience with the LotR starter kit decks. In addition if you could point to me how could I make them more balanced against each other - it would be great!

I am in-and-out of mtg since pretty much alpha. Though I never really invested a lot and never really became competetive or anything like this. I just enjoy the cards and I play sometimes. That being said, I do have some experience. My GF on the other hand is completely new. She played with me maybe 10 games in total.

I love LotR and decided to buy into the expansion, but as you can see, I chose the (alomost) cheapest way to do so and assumed it will give me 2 ready decks that we can play with little thinking required on the building side - simple for my GF and also me.

We played 20 games with the decks already and the result is: 20:0 to red/black deck.

Now you might say "probably your GF played white/green and you have more experience". This is true for the first 10 games. After 10 games we switched decks and I played white/green and she won 10 times in a row.

To me this clearly indicates the WG is just plain much worse of the two and I'm mad dissapointed in the product. Why do they even make "dual decks" or "starter sets" or whatever if they are bad to play against each other? Anyway, that's beside the point.

Do you have similar experience? If so, from more experienced players like yourselves, could you let me know which cards should I swap out to make WG closed to the black/red deck?
